Systematic Structural Liquidity Sweep and Momentum Reversal Engine
The Liquidity Sweep Reversal indicator for MetaTrader 5 provides an objective analytical framework designed to identify high-probability reversal opportunities emerging around key structural extremes. When price action establishes equal highs or equal lows, resting liquidity pools typically cluster just beyond those levels. These boundaries frequently experience brief price spikes that trigger breakout orders and protective stops before price reverses sharply back into the prior range.
This software algorithmically automates the identification of structural boundaries and systematically confirms genuine sweep-and-rejection behavior. By requiring decisive candle closes back within value, the indicator filters out low-volume consolidation and confirms directional momentum shifts strictly upon candle close, ensuring fully non-repainting execution references.
Algorithmic Logic and Trade Validation
The calculation engine operates exclusively on closed bar data. Historical signal markers remain anchored to their respective price bars and do not recalculate, shift, or repaint over time.
Bullish Liquidity Sweep Setup (BUY)
- Liquidity Sweep: Price sweeps below an established structural swing low where sell-side liquidity resides.
- Rejection Trigger: The trigger candle displays a clear lower-wick rejection and closes firmly back above the breached structural boundary.
- Execution Reference: Confirmation is locked strictly at the setup candle close. The opening price of the immediate subsequent bar serves as the operational execution reference.
Bearish Liquidity Sweep Setup (SELL)
- Liquidity Sweep: Price sweeps above an established structural swing high where buy-side liquidity resides.
- Rejection Trigger: The trigger candle displays a clear upper-wick rejection and closes firmly back below the breached structural boundary.
- Execution Reference: Confirmation is locked strictly at the setup candle close. The opening price of the immediate subsequent bar serves as the operational execution reference.
Integrated Risk Architecture and Target Ladder
Rather than providing isolated directional arrows, the indicator projects an end-to-end trade execution structure directly onto the active chart:
- Dynamic Structural Invalidation (Stop Loss): The Stop Loss reference is automatically positioned outside the extreme wick of the sweep candle (below the lowest sweep wick for buys, or above the highest sweep wick for sells), incorporating a configurable volatility buffer to accommodate spread variations and market noise.
- Standardized 4-Tier R-Multiple Targets: Profit objectives are mathematically projected based on the initial calculated risk distance (1R):
- TP1 (0.5R): Initial objective designed for rapid risk mitigation and early partial scaling.
- TP2 (0.8R): Intermediate milestone structured to capture standard initial momentum follow-through.
- TP3 (1.2R): Extended target capturing expanded structural swing continuation.
- TP4 (2.0R): Full expansion runner target positioned to track sustained directional extensions.
