SOUTHERN CROSS EA
No Martingale. No Grid. Just Pure Trading.
Southern Cross EA is not another recovery system dressed up as a strategy. It never averages down, never opens a basket to rescue a losing trade, and never risks your account to protect its win rate.
Instead, it runs a portfolio of nine independent trading systems on AUDNZD — one of the most naturally range-disposed pairs in forex, driven by two closely linked economies. Each system has its own entry logic, its own timeframe, its own exit management, and its own stop loss on every single trade. The systems trade independently of each other, and no system ever holds more than one position at a time.
That is the entire edge: diversification across nine uncorrelated approaches to one well-chosen market — not doubling down on one approach until the market gives in.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Most EAs on this market are a single strategy with a recovery mechanism. When the strategy is wrong, the recovery mechanism takes over — and your equity curve looks beautiful right up until it doesn't.
Southern Cross EA takes the opposite approach: many small, independent, stop-protected trades. Some systems win while others lose; the portfolio effect is what produces the smooth equity curve — not averaging, not martingale progression, not hidden floating drawdown. When a trade is wrong, it is closed at its stop. What you see in the backtest is what the EA actually does.
- Nine independent strategies, each with a unique magic number
- Every position has a hard stop loss from the moment it opens
- Dynamic take-profit management adapts targets to current market structure
- Built-in spread filter skips entries when conditions are poor
- No news feeds, no WebRequest, no DLLs, no external dependencies
HONEST TESTING, DISCLOSED OPENLY
You deserve to know exactly how the results shown here were produced:
- All backtests use 10 years of data (Oct 2016 – Jul 2026), 100% real ticks, RoboForex feed. Different brokers have different feeds, spreads, and commissions — always run the strategy tester on your broker's data before going live.
- Every strategy in the portfolio was developed using split-sample optimization with out-of-sample forward validation: parameters were fitted on one part of history and required to prove themselves on unseen data before being accepted. Strategies that failed forward validation were discarded, not tweaked until they passed.
- The published statistics come from fixed-lot testing so that per-trade performance is not flattered by compounding. The Extreme-risk compounding result is shown for what it is: the same trades with aggressive position scaling, including its full 40% drawdown.
No EA can promise future profits, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Test it. Demo it. Then decide.
RISK LEVELS
One dropdown controls position sizing:
| Risk level | Position sizing |
| Fixed | Uses the Fixed Lots field exactly |
| Very Low | 0.01 lots per $5,000 balance |
| Low | 0.01 lots per $2,500 balance |
| Medium | 0.01 lots per $1,000 balance |
| High | 0.01 lots per $500 balance |
| Very High | 0.01 lots per $100 balance |
| Extreme | 0.01 lots per $50 balance |
Sizing is based on account balance, recalculated at every entry, and clamped to your broker's lot limits.
HOW TO USE
- Open a RoboForex account with referral code vqkrs
- Attach Southern Cross EA to an AUDNZD chart. The chart timeframe does not matter — the EA manages all timeframes internally.
- Choose your risk level.
- That's it. All strategy parameters are managed internally; there is nothing else to configure.
Optional inputs: a fixed lot size (used with the Fixed risk level), a magic number offset in case another EA on the account conflicts, and an editable trade comment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Symbol: AUDNZD
- Chart timeframe: any
- Account type: hedging account required. The EA opens independent positions per strategy; a netting account merges them and breaks the portfolio logic.
- Account structure: raw-spread / ECN account strongly recommended. The strategies are cost-sensitive by design, and the built-in spread filter will correctly skip entries on high-spread accounts — which protects you, but also means standard accounts may see reduced trade frequency.
- Minimum balance: $100 (trades minimum lot). Recommended: $1,000+.
- Leverage: 1:30 or higher.
- VPS recommended for uninterrupted operation.
- Run it in the strategy tester and on a demo account first to confirm your broker's feed is compatible.
LIVE SIGNALS
A live signal will be linked here once the monitored account has accumulated meaningful history. Until then, the strategy tester on your own broker's data is your most honest preview.
