MeanX

MeanX is a fixed-lot Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5.

It is designed primarily for Gold (XAUUSD) on M1 and combines a mean-reversion entry model, staged Recovery orders, Basket-level exits, trailing logic, and Basket-loss protection.

MeanX v1.03 uses fixed lot sizing. When FixedLot = 0 , the EA uses the minimum trading volume allowed by the current symbol. MeanX does not use balance-based or equity-based automatic lot scaling.

Main risk controls include a maximum Basket volume, maximum spread filter, margin-level protection for new and Recovery orders, and a Basket loss limit based on account equity captured when the Basket starts. The default MaximumBasketLossPercent is 13%.

MeanX is intended for Hedging accounts. The primary recommended environment is Gold / XAUUSD, M1, using fixed lot sizing. On lower-leverage accounts, margin protection may prevent later Recovery orders from being opened.

For symbols or timeframes outside the recommended environment, MeanX uses a Generic Path designed to adapt its price-scale handling. However, the primary tested and recommended environment remains Gold / XAUUSD / M1. No profitability claim is made for other symbols or timeframes.

MeanX does not use DLLs, external licensing, account locks, broker locks, or expiration dates.

MeanX uses a Grid / Martingale-style Recovery structure. If price continues moving against an active Basket, floating loss, margin usage, and total exposure may increase.

Trading results may vary depending on broker pricing, execution, spread, account specifications, and market conditions. Backtests, historical results, and successful Automatic Validation do not guarantee future profitability.
