Why this scanner exists

The underlying methodology (ACB — "Ain't Coming Back") is built on one idea: traders get trapped on the wrong side of a market at closing-price extremes, and once that setup is confirmed, price tends to move away and not come back. The hard part was never understanding the concept — it's the manual work of checking every symbol, every session, for whether today is that day. This scanner automates exactly that check, continuously, across your whole watchlist, and shows its work: every row tells you which extreme fired, which signal type, and why it scored the way it did.

What it actually detects

• 3-Day Breakout (3DBO) — three consecutive closes each individually beyond the prior day's high/low, same direction. The strongest, rarest trapped-trader event the scanner tracks, and it is always sorted to the top of the panel.
• Close In Breakout (CIB / Weekly CIB) — a close beyond yesterday's or last week's high/low. Daily CIB and Weekly CIB are never double-printed on the same bar; the stronger of the two takes precedence automatically.
• First Red Day / First Green Day (FRD/FGD) — momentum-exhaustion days, including the high-conviction "chain" variant (3 Higher Closes → FRD, or 3 Lower Closes → FGD) called out separately in the signal thesis.
• 3 Higher Closes / 3 Lower Closes (3HC/3LC) — building structure ahead of a possible exhaustion signal.
• Inside Day & Outside Day (Day0) — range-contraction and range-expansion days, direction read from the nearest monthly extreme.
• IN PLAY watchlist triggers — a market that closed in breakout but hasn't reached a major extreme yet gets flagged separately from tradeable rows, so you can track it without being tempted to act early.

Every signal is checked against real monthly and weekly extremes (HCOM/LCOM, HOM/LOM, HCOW/LCOW, HOW/LOW) — and when a bar is both a monthly and weekly extreme at once, the panel tells you that stacked read is stronger than either alone, instead of silently hiding it.

A transparent 10-point score, not a black box

Every row is scored on a fixed, published scale — Extreme (max 4) + Signal (max 3) + Timing (max 2) + Template (max 1) = 10 — and reduced to a 1–5 star rating so you can filter by conviction at a glance:

The Timing and Template components come straight from the methodology's own weekly framework: a backside-week (Week 3–4) signal day scores higher than the identical setup on the frontside (Week 1–2), because that's what the manual itself calls the higher-probability zone — the scanner just enforces it consistently, every symbol, every day, instead of leaving it to memory.

It tells you why, not just what

Every row ships with an auto-generated, plain-English thesis: which extreme fired (and whether it's stacked month+week), whether it's a chain signal, whether today is a named timing day (FDTM, midweek reset, Thursday reversal day), and whether you're on the frontside or backside of the month. You get the reasoning a discretionary trader would write down — without writing it down.

Built for a full watchlist, not a handful of favorites

• Scans your live Market Watch directly, with independent on/off filters per instrument family (Forex, Indices, Commodities, Crypto, Exotic, Stocks, Other) — so you can stay inside the families you actually trade without permanently hiding the rest of Market Watch.
• Add any extra symbol manually regardless of family filters.
• Toggle whether a symbol can print more than one signal row at once, or only its single best one.
• Configurable refresh interval and panel position.

Alerts tiered to conviction

Pop-up and sound alerts fire on new qualifying signals, with a separate sound assignable to each star tier — so a 5-star ELITE signal doesn't sound the same as a 1-star ALERT, and you can walk away from the screen without walking away from the setup.

Interface that respects scan speed under pressure

Six full panel themes (Obsidian Glass, Midnight Gold, Emerald Reserve, Carbon Copper, Royal Amethyst, Arctic Platinum) let you match the panel to your setup — but BUY/SELL direction color, the WATCH color, and 5-star gold are deliberately never themed. Those are the colors you read in a split second under time pressure, and they stay identical across every theme so your muscle memory never has to re-learn "which color means what" after a skin change.
