Tom Trade Manager is a supervisor for accounts that run several Expert Advisors at once. It enforces an exclusive trading lock: the first EA to open a position trades alone, the other managed EAs are removed from their charts, and they come back with their original settings once the account is flat. You keep several EAs on one account without stacking their risk.
The manager does not open trades of its own. It manages the EAs you already run. EAs that are not in your list are never touched.
HOW IT WORKS
You list your EAs as Name:MagicNumber pairs. The manager finds each EA's chart by name and its positions by magic number. To pause an EA, it saves the chart to a template and applies a blank one, so the EA cannot trade. To resume, it applies the saved template again and the EA returns with the same inputs. An EA that holds open positions is never left off its chart, so it can always manage its stops, trailing and baskets.
FEATURES
- Exclusive lock: allow 1 or more EAs or groups to hold positions at once. Together groups may trade at the same time and count as one slot. Lock-free EAs trade next to anyone and stay protected.
- Late entry handling: if two EAs fire in the same second, the later trade is closed and the earlier one always stays. You can also choose to allow it.
- News filter: pause, or close and pause, around calendar events, with currency and impact filters. EAs paused for news are never resumed without calendar data.
- Two weekly pause schedules: broker time, windows across midnight supported, each with its own EA list and action.
- Per-EA drawdown limit: close and/or pause an EA when its floating loss exceeds a money or % limit. Use one limit for all EAs, or a separate limit and action per EA. A stopped EA trades again at the next broker day, after X minutes, or when you release it.
- Account drawdown protection: on account floating loss, close managed trades (optionally all trades) and stop everything.
- Daily protection: daily loss limit and/or profit target on closed plus floating P/L. Trading stops until broker midnight.
- Losing streak guard: pause an EA for X minutes after N losing trades in a row.
- Direction filter: automatically close new buys or sells of chosen magic numbers.
- Manual control: pause and resume buttons for each EA, plus PAUSE ALL on the panel. Manual pauses survive restarts.
- Status panel: live state of every EA, floating and daily P/L per EA, drawdown against each limit, countdown to the next planned action.
- Three themes: Command Blue, Classic Gold and Light.
- Alerts: popup and push notifications, optional CSV event log.
- Restart recovery: paused EAs are saved to disk and picked up again after a terminal or VPS restart. Removing the manager restores all EAs first.
SETUP
1. Attach the manager to any free chart. One manager per account is the normal setup.
2. Fill in the EA list, for example: Gold Scalper:1234;Trend Rider:7001,7002
3. For the news filter, add this URL in Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow WebRequest: https://nfs.faireconomy.media
4. Click OK. The panel shows every EA as RUNNING, and the lock works from there.
REQUIREMENTS
- Each managed EA runs on its own chart and uses its own magic number or numbers. Magic prefix wildcards are supported (12345*).
- The terminal must keep running. A VPS is recommended.
- Up to 24 EAs, 16 magic numbers each.
NOTES
- This utility manages charts, so it cannot be meaningfully tested in the Strategy Tester: there are no other charts or EAs to manage there. Please try it on a demo account.
- Formerly SmartEA Trade Manager. This is the same product under a new name. Remove the old manager from its chart before attaching this one.
