Mestre Neural Signal is a separate-window oscillator. For every closed bar it builds eight normalized features from standard indicators and price data and passes them to a compact neural network model in ONNX format that is embedded inside the indicator file. The model output, limited to the range -1 to +1, is plotted as a line. No external files or downloads are needed. The forming bar is left empty, so plotted values do not repaint.
How it works
Features (each clipped to -1..+1)
1. Close minus fast SMA, divided by 4 x ATR
2. Close minus slow SMA, divided by 4 x ATR
3. RSI distance from 50, divided by 50
4. MACD main minus signal, relative to ATR
5. One-bar percentage change of the close (scaled)
6. Five-bar close change, divided by 5 x ATR
7. Tick volume relative to its 20-bar average
8. Bar range (high minus low), divided by 2.5 x ATR
The model is a multilayer perceptron with 8 inputs, two hidden layers (16 and 8 units, ReLU) and one output, run with the MetaTrader 5 ONNX runtime. If the model cannot be loaded or executed, or if you disable it, a fixed linear combination of the same features passed through tanh is used instead, and a message is printed in the Experts log.
Main features
- Embedded ONNX model, no external files
- Single line from -1 (bearish reading) to +1 (bullish reading)
- Standard indicator buffer, usable by other programs via iCustom
- Closed bars only (non-repainting), incremental calculation with a history limit
Inputs
- Use ONNX model (off = linear fallback)
- Max history bars
- Fast and slow SMA periods, ATR period, RSI period, MACD fast, slow and signal periods
Notes and limitations
- Bars where indicator data is not yet available are left empty.
- The model weights are fixed. Changing the indicator periods changes the features fed to the model, so the default periods are recommended.
- The line is a model reading of current conditions, not a price forecast, and it does not draw arrows, send alerts or trade.
- Past behavior of the line does not guarantee future results.
Recommended use
Any symbol and timeframe. Typical use is as a directional filter or confirmation together with your own entry rules, for example reading the sign of the line on closed bars.
