Market Profile TPO — MQL5 Indicator for MetaTrader 5
Description
This indicator displays a complete Market Profile based on TPO (Time Price Opportunity) directly on your MetaTrader 5 chart. It calculates and updates in real time the daily price profile using alphabetical letters, with automatic identification of the POC, Value Area, and price extremes.

Compatibility

What the indicator does
- Displays TPO letters (A, B, C...) for each price period touched
- Automatically calculates the POC (Point of Control — most traded price level)
- Delimits the Value Area (zone representing 70% of activity, adjustable)
- Draws VAH (Value Area High) and VAL (Value Area Low) lines
- Displays up to 5 consecutive trading days (adjustable)
- Built-in black background that hides candlesticks for a clear profile view
- Tick-by-tick update — letters appear in real time as soon as price reaches a new level
Bucket_Size parameter by asset
The Bucket_Size parameter defines the granularity of price levels. Here are the recommended values for each asset:
