Slippage, execution speed, and spread variations are factors that are unfortunately outside the EA’s control. In fact, many brokers do manipulate execution conditions to some extent, especially during volatile periods. That said, the EA is designed to operate robustly within real market environments and consistently executes its strategy as intended. Regarding prop firms, the EA can indeed be used effectively during the challenge phase, where conditions are typically more aligned with standard market execution. However, I do not recommend using it on funded accounts, as prop firm restrictions and execution environments can differ and may negatively affect performance. Choosing a reliable, low slippage broker is key to achieving results closer to backtests. The EA does its job, but the environment it runs in will always play a role.
