SimpleGridBot – transparent grid trading with separate Buy/Sell control, basket exit and RSI logic

A grid EA you can fully understand and control. No black box: you set the distances, lot sizes and exits, and the EA does exactly that. No hidden logic.

What sets it apart

• Separate Buy and Sell settings: distance, start lot and take profit are set independently for each side.
• Basket take profit with auto-restart: when the current grid run reaches your profit target, everything is closed and a fresh grid starts, or the EA stops, as you choose.
• RSI that decides when each side may trade: an entry filter, an exit that liquidates a side, and an “armed until exit” mode that keeps a side active until the RSI exit closes it.

How it works

• Buy grid: a new Buy opens each time price falls by the Buy distance below the lowest open Buy.
• Sell grid: a new Sell opens each time price rises by the Sell distance above the highest open Sell.
• Every position has its own take profit. A stop loss and a maximum number of orders per side are optional.
• When a position closes, its level becomes tradable again as soon as price revisits it.

Quick start

1. Attach the EA to one chart on a demo account (hedging account, AutoTrading on).
2. Choose grid distance and lot size to fit your symbol and account size.
3. Optional: set a basket take profit to bank the whole grid run at your target.
4. Optional: enable the RSI filter and exit, and pick the timeframe and levels.
5. Check the chart display for current P/L and open positions.

FAQ

• Are set files included? No. A grid has to be set up for each market and each trader’s risk preference.
• The EA disappears after I click OK. Why? It refused to start because of a setting. Open the Experts tab: a line starting with “Error:” names the setting, for example RSI entry levels that conflict with the exit levels.
• Can I trade only one direction? Yes, switch off the Buy or Sell grid.
