BITCOIN POWERBANDS H1 is a fully automated Expert Advisor focused on Bitcoin (BTCUSD) and exploiting its explosive volatility.
Strategy:
This robust robot is based on different strategic concepts studied by John Bollinger, which, when combined, can predict and detect high volatility signals.
Although the Expert Advisor can work on different assets and timeframes, it is specially designed to take advantage of Bitcoin in H1.
What are the advantages of BITCOIN POWERBANDS H1?
✔️ Efficiency: It detects and profitably exploits high volatility signals.
✔️ Versatility: It operates the market signal in both directions (Buy and Sell), trailing the selected Bollinger Band (Upper, Middle or Lower).
✔️ Security: The robot operates on specific signals, keep this in mind, it is not a scalping robot. It can take some time, but it will be worth it, believe me. In case of a correct signal and after winning enough pips (set in the entry setup), the position is protected by breaking even at the opening price plus 5 points (thus counteracting spread and commissions).
✔️ Prudence: If the detected signal is a false volatility breakout, the loss is limited. The Stop Loss is placed in the middle of the large candle prior to the opening.
✔️ Simplicity: The entry setup is already prepared to facilitate the user's operation of the robot. The robot's default parameters are already set to get the maximum performance. Only modify the lot size at your own risk, please be cautious with this and do an effective risk management.
Results:
The backtest returns spectacular data in a period of a year and a half (09-2022 to 03-2024). For an initial deposit of $10,000, 1 lot per trade and a spread of 25, it obtains a net profit of $30,042.63, a very high Profit Factor (7.24) and a high expected payoff per trade of $509.20. The percentage of winning trades is 64.41% and the maximum drawdown is only 8.26%, with the absolute loss being 0, meaning that the robot never decreased the initial deposit even once.

Input Parameters:
MagicNumber: Assign a number to identify the Expert Advisor. Useful if you have a portfolio of robots and want to measure their performance with tools like Myfxbook, FX Blue...
pips_bkeven: Number of pips won (after each candle) to place the Stop Loss at the opening price (+ 6 points).
Lot: Lot size. Adjust the lot size according to your risk level and asset specification at your broker.
Trailing_BB: Bollinger Band (Upper, Half or Lower) where to go Trailing once the trade is opened.
Settings Mode:
• Mode Automatic: Any symbol
• BTCUSD: For Bitcoin (or BTC, BTCUSD, etc. depending on your broker). It is the recommended mode
NOTE: It is recommended to leave the input parameters by default, except for the Lot, which you will have to adjust according to your risk level or asset specification. For backtesting, it is advisable to use the 20-period Bollinger Bands with a deviation of 1.
