KT Equity Protector MT4

An equity protection EA for MetaTrader that enforces your loss limits and profit target for you: when your account reaches a rule you set, it closes your trades on every symbol, before one bad day turns into a lost account.

It suits prop firm challenges and personal accounts alike. Attach it to one chart, answer a few questions in the on-chart setup wizard, and it watches your whole account in the background while you trade by hand or with other EAs.

What it protects

• Daily loss limit: a percentage or a fixed amount, with a safety buffer so it acts just before your prop firm's breach line.
• Max loss and drawdown: measured from your initial balance, highest balance, highest equity or a custom starting balance, to match the drawdown rule of your firm.
• Profit target: closes your trades when the account reaches your target, so a good run stays in your balance.
• Equity trailing stop: once the account is in profit, it protects the gains if equity falls back from its peak by more than you allow.
• Weekend close: closes your trades at the Friday time you choose, so you do not hold them over the weekend gap.

How it acts

For each rule you choose the response: an alert only, close losing trades, close winning trades, close all trades, or close all trades and remove other EAs, so nothing can open the positions again. Pending orders are cancelled together with the trades. After a loss limit is hit, a reset lock stops you from jumping straight back into the market.

The dashboard shows your balance, your equity and how much of each limit is used, with Pause, Resume and Reset buttons. Filters by symbol, magic number or trade comment let it close only the trades you choose, while the risk is still measured on the whole account.

Input parameters

All protection rules are set in the setup wizard and saved for your account. The inputs dialog holds only the alert channels and the log:

• Pop Up Alert, Sound Alert, Push Notifications, Email Alert: where the alerts are sent.
• Enable CSV Logging: keeps a record of every rule event and every trade the EA closes.
