Bressert Cycle Signals (BCS) is a professional cyclical indicator for MT5, adapting Walter Bressert's methodology. It combines oscillator phase analysis with precise "Setup & Trigger" entry mechanics, displaying signals directly on candlesticks.

🎯 What the indicator shows

  1. Bressert Oscillator (subwindow): Smoothed Double Stochastic oscillator showing market phases.
    • 🔵 Blue line — oscillator value.
    • 🟢 Green dotted line — buy level (default 40).
    • 🔴 Red dotted line — sell level (default 60).
  2. Arrows on candlesticks: Appear only when price action confirms the reversal.
    • 🟢 Green up arrow — breakout of setup bar High (BUY).
    • 🔴 Red down arrow — breakout of setup bar Low (SELL).

⭐ Key Features

  • Setup & Trigger Logic: Signals are not drawn on simple level touches. The indicator waits for an actual price breakout with a specified point offset within a limited bar window. This filters out market noise.

🛠 Installation (MetaTrader 5)

🎯 Trading Scenarios

  1. Classic Cycle Reversal: Oscillator < 40, forms a minimum, turns up → green arrow on High breakout. Enter with Stop Loss below the minimum.
  2. Noise Filtering: If price fails to break the level within InpTriggerWindow bars, the signal is automatically canceled.
  3. Confluence: Use BCS arrows as final entry confirmation alongside Volume Profile levels (ATAS) or higher timeframe trend.

⚙️ Indicator Parameters

  • InpDSLen: Cycle length (oscillator period). Default: 14.
  • InpBuyLevel / InpSellLevel: Levels for finding signals. Default: 40.0 / 60.0.
  • InpTurnThreshold: Minimum oscillator turn. Default: 2.0.
  • InpTriggerWindow: Trigger window (number of bars). Default: 5.
  • InpTriggerOffsetPts: Trigger offset in points. Default: 10.
  • InpArrowOffsetPts: Arrow offset from candlestick (points). Default: 30.

The indicator shows probabilistic entry points. It is not a foolproof system. Always use Stop Loss and follow risk management rules. All trading decisions are made by the trader.
