News Filter and Calendar Panel reads the MetaTrader 5 built-in economic calendar (no external website, no WebRequest) and turns scheduled events into clear trading windows.

Filtering and windows:

Currencies: AUTO (from open charts and positions) or an explicit list such as USD,EUR.
Minimum importance, include/exclude keywords, optional speeches.
Separate before/after minutes for high- and medium-impact events; inclusive boundaries; overlapping windows merge until the latest end.
All times are broker server time.

Panel and chart: paged list of upcoming events with countdown or actual/forecast/previous, full names in tooltips, event lines on the chart, Refresh and Pause 1h / Resume buttons, movable English/Russian panel. The calendar refreshes every 15 minutes, retries sooner when unavailable and clearly labels cached or unavailable data.

For your other EAs: terminal global variables NEWS_BLOCK, NEWS_BLOCK_<CCY> and NEWS_NEXT. A cooperating EA checks the flag before entry (example code in the guide). Several instances cannot clear each other's block.

Optional protective actions (all OFF by default), filtered by magic number and symbol currency:

Close positions N minutes before an event; delete pending orders; move to breakeven when price is favourable; tighten TP.
Block New Trades: reactively closes matching entries opened inside a window (the order executes first, so spread/slippage are incurred; not a broker-side prohibition).
Pause other EA charts: saves template, closes selected EA charts and restores them after the window, with recovery state after restart.

Strategy Tester: an embedded snapshot of 4,482 genuine high-impact USD/EUR events (2020–2026) so the filter works in backtests; other currencies/levels are not in the snapshot.

Presets included: Default EN/RU, USD_High, Prop_Conservative, Position_Close_Example. EN/RU PDF guides.

Testing: compiled with 0 errors/0 warnings; calendar cache suite 1,365 assertions and window suite 8 checks with 0 failures; protection suites passed on netting and hedging accounts; 54 successful tester runs on two brokers. Please verify the chosen actions on a demo account with your own EAs before live use.
