Order blocks from any timeframe, with alerts - and a table that tells you honestly whether they work on your chart.
ICT Order Blocks Honest Stats draws order blocks from this or a higher timeframe, marks each one fresh, tested or broken, alerts you when price comes back to a fresh block, and measures on your chart's own history how often the blocks held next to fake zones of the same size. What it draws
- Bullish order block: the last bearish candle before a strong move up. The move must close at least 1 x ATR(14) above that candle within 3 candles AND break the high of the 10 candles before it (a break of structure). ATR = the average size of one candle
- Bearish order block: the same, upside down
- Zone = the whole candle (high to low) or only its body, your choice
- Fresh blocks (price has not come back yet) are filled; tested blocks (price came back) are outlined; broken blocks (a candle closed through the far side) end there and turn grey, or are hidden
- A dotted 50% line (mean threshold) inside every block
- Only the newest blocks are shown (5 per side by default), so the chart stays readable
- Hover over a block to see its timeframe, state, time and how strong the move was
Higher-timeframe blocks
Set "Timeframe of the blocks" to H1, H4 or D1 and the higher-timeframe blocks appear on your M5 or M15 chart. The stats table then tests that timeframe too.

- When price comes back to a fresh block (once per block)
- When a new block forms (optional)
- Popup, sound, push to the MetaTrader phone app, email - switch each on or off
The honest stats table
The table uses every closed bar loaded on the chart (or on the blocks' timeframe).
- Order blocks found: bullish and bearish
- Price came back to the block: how often price returned within 100 bars
- Real block held on that return: when price first came back, did it turn and move 0.5 ATR away from the block before it went 0.5 ATR through the other side?
- Fake zone (same size and distance) held: the same test for three fake zones per block. Each one has the same size and sits at the same distance from price as the real block did, but at a random earlier time - so there is no order block behind it
- Difference: real minus fake, in percentage points
When the difference is bigger than luck alone could produce (95% range), it turns green and a green line under the table says so.
Why the fake zones matter
Price swings all the time, so almost any zone under the price "holds" fairly often. The fake zones show that base rate, so you see what the real order blocks add on top of it.
Test it on your own chart
Every market, timeframe and setting behaves differently. Load your chart and the table shows at once how the setup does on your symbol, your timeframe and your settings - real numbers instead of guesswork.
How to use it
- Works on any symbol and any timeframe
- More history on the chart gives more reliable numbers (Tools > Options > Charts > Max bars in chart)
- The table counts closed bars only, so it doesn't jump with every tick
- Change the displacement, the number of candles and the structure filter, and the table shows at once whether your version of order blocks does better than fake zones
Limitations
- The stats only cover the history loaded on the chart
- The test uses bar highs and lows. Inside one bar the order of moves is unknown, so a bar that both turns and breaks is left out
- Past behaviour does not guarantee future behaviour. This is a drawing and measuring tool, not a trading signal
Inputs
- Timeframe of the blocks: default the chart's own
- Zone: whole candle or body
- Displacement in ATR(14): default 1.0; candles allowed for it: default 3; must also break the last N candles: default 10 (0 = off)
- Look for blocks in the last N bars: default 300; blocks shown per side: default 5
- Show tested blocks: on; show broken blocks: off; 50% line: on
- Colours of bullish, bearish and broken blocks; fill fresh blocks
- Alerts: price back at a fresh block (on), new block (off); popup, sound, push, email
- Turn or break distance, in ATR(14): default 0.5; bars to wait for price to come back: 100; bars to decide: 50
- Show the honest stats table, table corner, font size
