The idea behind the project: a small account can produce a small, steady return that may help cover small everyday expenses. Results scale with the capital: the larger the account and the lot size, the larger, in absolute terms, both gains and losses. No result is guaranteed.
PuRo Fibo 233 is an automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4. It looks for trend entries using the Ichimoku system (Tenkan-sen, Kijun-sen, Senkou Span and Chikou Span) on closed H1 candles, and manages every trade with a rule-based stop loss and a Fibonacci-based target.
How it works
- Entry signals are evaluated only on closed candles (no repainting of signals).
- The initial stop loss is placed on the swing of the last N candles (default 3), with an extra margin and minimum/maximum stop limits in pips, so trades with an unreasonable stop are skipped.
- The profit target is a multiple of the real stop (Fibonacci system), with breakeven and two stop-locking steps to protect open profit.
- Optional classic breakeven, trailing stop and monetary target.
- Trading hours (server time) and weekdays can be restricted, plus a maximum number of trades per day.
- Position size: fixed lot or risk-based lot (percentage of equity per trade).
- Account guards: limit on simultaneously open symbols, maximum risk per trade and maximum margin used.
- On-chart panel and messages in English or Italian.
Suggested use
- Timeframe: H1.
- Works on forex pairs; the author's own testing focused on JPY pairs with a trading window of 04:00-08:00 server time. Session hours depend on your broker's server time, so adjust the hour filter accordingly.
- Run it on a VPS for continuous operation. Test on a demo account first.
Ready-made presets by account size (included in this description)
The settings below are the ones used in the author's tests: entry signals left on default, fixed lot mode, trading hours 04:00-08:00 server time, stop on the last 3 candles, maximum stop 50 pips, final Fibo target = level 3.4 x stop. Only the lot size changes with the account size, so the risk per trade stays proportional to the balance.
- Account 1,000: LotSize = 0.06
- Account 5,000: LotSize = 0.29
- Account 10,000: LotSize = 0.60 (the 1,000 preset multiplied by 10)
- Account 50,000: LotSize = 2.90 (the 5,000 preset multiplied by 10)
- Reference preset, tested on an account of about 8,500: LotSize = 0.50
Common values for every preset
- UseRiskBasedLotSizing = false (fixed lot)
- EnableHourFilter = true, StartHour = 4, EndHour = 8 (server time)
- CandleStopLookback = 3
- MaxStopPips = 50
- FiboFinalTargetLevel = 3.4 x stop (the "3.4" target level in the inputs)
How to apply a preset: attach the EA to an H1 chart, open the Inputs tab, set the values above and press OK. Intermediate balances: scale the lot proportionally. The lot sizes are a starting point, not a recommendation; adapt them to your own risk tolerance and test on a demo account first.
Free settings: all the settings above are provided free of charge to every buyer. Note: in the default inputs the time filter is OFF. To use the recommended trading window, set EnableHourFilter = true, StartHour = 4, EndHour = 8 (server time) together with the other values listed above.
Filters: entries can be filtered by CCI slope, Chikou Span, Kumo (cloud) position and the Kijun/Tenkan relation, by trading hours and weekdays, and with an ON/OFF button on the chart. An optional reversal on Kijun cut is available. Filters can be combined, so the EA trades less often but more selectively.
Licence: one-time purchase, no subscription.
Important: trading leveraged products carries a high level of risk and you can lose more than your deposit. Past performance, including backtests, does not guarantee future results. Backtest results depend on data quality and broker conditions. This EA is not a guarantee of profit; use only risk capital and always test on a demo account first.
