One Click Trade Panel with Risk Manager is an order-entry and trade-management panel for MetaTrader 5. It does not contain a trading strategy and does not open trades by itself on a live or demo account. Trades are opened only when you click BUY or SELL.
Position sizing
You enter the stop-loss distance and the risk, either as a percentage of balance, equity or free margin, or as a fixed amount in the account currency. The panel calculates the lot from the broker's contract specification (tick value, tick size, volume step and volume limits), so the same settings work on forex, JPY pairs, metals and indices. A preview line shows the lot and the amount at risk before you click. A fixed-lot mode is also available.
Chart lines and pending orders
Switch on LINES and click BUY or SELL. The panel draws an entry line, a stop-loss line and a take-profit line on the chart. Drag them to where you want them, and the lot and the amount at risk update as you drag. Click PLACE to send the order, or CANCEL to remove the lines.
If you leave the entry line where it is, it follows the price and a market order is sent. If you drag the entry line away from the price, the panel places a pending order: buy limit or sell limit when the entry is better than the current price, buy stop or sell stop when it is beyond it. The stop-loss and take-profit lines become the order's SL and TP, and break-even, partial close and trailing manage the position after the order fills.
Hotkeys
Shift+B buys and Shift+S sells (with LINES on they start or place the setup), Shift+C closes all, and Esc cancels a line setup. Hotkeys can be switched off in the inputs.
Trade management in R
The distance between the entry price and the stop loss is one R. Every trade is sent with a stop loss and an optional take profit on the server. The panel can then:
- move the stop loss to break-even plus a small locked amount at a chosen R level
- close part of the position at TP1
- trail the stop loss at a fixed R distance once a chosen R level is reached
Each function can be switched on or off with the BE, TP1 and TRAIL buttons on the panel.
Panel controls
- Mode button: RISK %, RISK amount or FIXED LOT
- Risk % (or Amount), Lot, SL pts and TP (R) fields (press Enter after typing)
- SL from ATR button, which fills the stop distance from the ATR
- BUY and SELL buttons (PLACE and CANCEL during a line setup)
- BE, TP1, TRAIL and LINES switches
- CLOSE ALL for the positions and pending orders of this panel on the current symbol
Checks before every order
Before sending an order, the panel checks algo trading permission, the trading session, the volume limits, free margin and the broker's minimum stop distance. If a check fails, the reason is shown in the panel status line and no order is sent.
Things to know
Break-even, partial close and trailing run inside the terminal. They work only while the terminal is running and connected. The stop loss and take profit set at entry always remain on the server. A VPS is useful if you rely on these functions.
If the calculated lot is below the symbol minimum, the trade is skipped. If "Use min lot" is enabled, the minimum lot is used instead, and the real risk is then higher than the set percentage. A partial close needs enough volume to split, so a position of the minimum lot cannot be partially closed. Break-even does not include commission or swap.
Values typed into the panel return to the input settings when the panel is reloaded, for example after a timeframe change. Only positions with the panel's magic number on the chart symbol are managed. Manual trades can be included with the "Also manage manual trades" input. One panel manages one symbol, so attach it to one chart per symbol you trade.
Strategy Tester
In the Strategy Tester, the panel opens small demonstration trades automatically, so you can watch break-even, partial close and trailing at work. These automatic trades happen only in the tester. In the tester, the field values come from the input settings.
Input parameters
Position sizing: lot mode, risk percent (default 1), risk amount in account currency (default 10), risk base (balance, equity or free margin), fixed lot, use min lot when the risk lot is too small.
Stop loss and take profit: SL distance in points (0 = calculated from ATR), ATR period, ATR multiplier, final TP in R (default 3, 0 = no TP). Distances are in points, not pips: on 5-digit forex quotes, 10 points = 1 pip.
Break-even: on/off, trigger level in R (1.0), locked profit in R (0.1).
Partial close: on/off, TP1 level in R (1.5), volume to close in percent (50).
Trailing stop: on/off, start level in R (2.0), distance in R (1.0), step in R (0.1).
Trade settings: magic number, maximum slippage, manage manual trades, order comment.
Panel: position and colors.
Chart lines and hotkeys: start with LINES on, hotkeys on/off.
Strategy Tester: interval between demonstration trades.
Compatibility
MetaTrader 5, hedging and netting accounts, any symbol and timeframe. On a netting account, a new trade in the same direction is merged into the existing position, and the new stop loss and take profit apply to the whole position.
Risk warning
Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of loss. This utility helps with order entry and trade management. It does not generate trading signals and does not reduce market risk, slippage or price gaps. Test it on a demo account before using it on a live account.
