Mtf Middle Expert Advisor is a MetaTrader 4 trading robot based on a multi-timeframe middle-of-candle model.

The higher timeframe defines the allowed direction. By default, the EA reads the middle of the last closed M30 candles and confirms direction with both slope and price position. The lower timeframe then waits for an entry signal, by default an M5 close crossing the middle of its own candle.

All signal decisions are made from closed candles only. The EA does not use the current forming candle for entries, which helps keep live signals consistent with Strategy Tester behavior.

- Direction modes: slope, price side, or both combined.
- Trigger modes: close cross, trigger slope, or trigger-to-direction middle cross.
- One position per symbol and Magic Number.
- Optional stop loss and take profit.
- Optional trailing stop with step control.

- Optional exit when the higher-timeframe direction becomes unclear.
- Diagnostic and debug logging.

Main inputs:
- DirectionTF: higher timeframe used for trade direction. Default M30.
- TriggerTF: lower timeframe used for entry timing. Default M5.
- DirectionMode: chooses how direction is confirmed.
- TriggerMode: chooses how entries are triggered.
- ExitOnOppositeTrigger: optionally closes a trade on opposite trigger.
- ExitOnDirectionUnclear: closes a trade when direction no longer agrees.
- Lots: fixed lot size.
- MagicNumber: separates this EA's trades from other systems.
- SlippagePips: accepted slippage in pips.
- MaxSpreadPips: optional spread filter, 0 means disabled.
- UseStopLoss / StopLossPips: optional stop loss.
- UseTakeProfit / TakeProfitPips: optional take profit.
- UseTrailingStop / TrailingStopPips / TrailingStepPips: optional trailing stop.

Suggested use:
Attach the EA to one MT4 chart and choose explicit DirectionTF and TriggerTF values. TriggerTF should be lower than DirectionTF. Test and optimize settings for the symbol, timeframe and broker conditions you trade.
