A simplified explanation of all the Expert Advisor's external settings

## 1️⃣ Stochastic Level-Cross Settings

This indicator is responsible for timing the exact moment to enter a trade:

* Stoch_K (5) & Stoch_D (3): Numbers that define the speed and sensitivity of the indicator lines (the fast line and the slow line).

* Stoch_Slowing (3): Smoothing factor for the indicator movement to reduce false signals.

* Stoch_Method (0) & Stoch_PriceField (0): Internal technical settings for how the indicator is calculated (based on High/Low or Close/Close prices).

* StochBuyLevel (25.0): Buy threshold. When the indicator drops below this level and then crosses back above it, the EA opens a BUY trade.

* StochSellLevel (75.0): Sell threshold. When the indicator rises above this level and then crosses back below it, the EA opens a SELL trade.

* StochLookback (3): The number of previous bars (candles) the EA looks back to confirm a valid indicator crossover.

## 2️⃣ Trade & Money Management

This section controls trade volume and risk parameters (modified to run independently of the Stop Loss) [🔍]:

* UseAutoLot (true): Enables automated lot sizing. When set to true, the EA automatically increases the trade size as your account balance grows [🔍].

* RiskPercent (0.5): The risk percentage. In the new modification, 0.5% opens a 0.01 lot size for roughly every $2000 of free margin (or a minimum fallback of 0.01 for a $1000 account) [🔍].

* LotSize (0.03): Fixed manual lot size. This value is only active if automated lot sizing is turned off (UseAutoLot = false) [🔍].

* StopLoss (0.0): Standard Stop Loss. (In the new code modification, you can safely leave this at 0.0 without breaking the automated lot calculation functionality) [🔍].

* TakeProfit (30.0): The profit target for each individual trade, measured in Pips.

* MaxSlippage (3): The maximum allowed price slippage in pips when opening a trade.

## 3️⃣ Grid Martingale Settings

This section governs how the EA behaves if the market moves against the initial trade (opening averaging recovery trades):

* UseMartingale (true): Enables the grid martingale system to recover trades that are in drawdown.

* MartGridPips (10.0): The fixed distance in Pips between each open grid trade level.

* AddSpreadToGrid (true): Automatically adds the current broker spread on top of the 10-pip distance for enhanced account safety.

* MartMultiplier (1.6): The lot size multiplier. If the first trade is 0.01, the next level will be 0.01 × 1.6 = 0.016 (rounded up to 0.02), accelerating the path to a profitable basket exit.

* MaxMartLevels (6): The maximum number of extra averaging trades allowed (a safety cap protecting the account from opening infinite trades).

* MaxAdversePipsAfterNoMoney (5.0): Critical emergency feature; if the account runs out of free margin and cannot open a new grid level, and the price goes against the position by an additional 5 pips, the EA will forcibly close all open trades to protect remaining equity.

## 4️⃣ Total Take Profit

* TotalTPDollars (1.0): The basket profit target in dollars. When grid trades average out, as soon as the combined net profit of all open orders reaches or exceeds $1, the EA closes the entire cycle and prepares for new entries. (The code features an automated mechanism that lowers this target when 4 or more levels are open to ensure a rapid escape from drawdowns).

## 5️⃣ Advanced Risk Management

* UseTrailingStop (true): Activates a trailing stop to lock in profits as the market moves in your favor.

* TrailingPips (3.0): The trailing stop activates once the trade moves 3 pips into profit.

* TrailingLockPips (0.5): The trailing distance maintained behind the current market price (locking in a minimum of 0.5 pips of profit).

* TrailingStepPips (0.5): The minimum step size; the EA will modify the Stop Loss order only if the market moves at least another 0.5 pips in profit to prevent excessive server requests.

* UseBreakEven (false): Activates automated break-even protection for the initial layer-0 trade only.

* BreakEvenAt (1.5): Triggers once the initial trade gains 1.5 pips in profit.

* BreakEvenLock (0.5): Moves the Stop Loss to the entry price plus 0.5 pips of clear locked profit to completely immunize the trade against reversals.

## 6️⃣ Filters, Working Hours & Identity

* NewBarOnly (true): When active, the EA evaluates entry signals exclusively at the open of a new candle bar instead of every price tick. This filters out random market noise.

* MaxSpreadPips (2.5): Maximum allowed spread for trading. If the broker spread exceeds 2.5 pips (e.g., during news events), the EA abstains from launching new trading cycles.

* UseWorkingHours (false): Restricts initial trade placements to specific hours.

* TradeStartHour / TradeEndHour: Defines the daily start and stop operational hours based on the broker's server time.

* DebugMode (true): Prints operational diagnostics and errors to the Terminal Journal tab for real-time monitoring.

* MagicNumber (445566): A unique identifier that ensures the EA tracks and manages only its own automated positions, completely ignoring any manual trades or other EAs running simultaneously.
