Frequently Asked Questions
A pip is a standard unit used to measure changes in the exchange rate of a currency pair. For most Forex pairs, one pip corresponds to 0.0001 of the quoted price. For pairs involving the Japanese yen, a pip commonly corresponds to 0.01.
Pip value depends on the pip size, position size, exchange rate, and account currency. If the quote currency differs from the account currency, the resulting value must also be converted into the account currency.
