EA Health Monitor

EA Health Monitor is a free indicator for MetaTrader 5 that shows, on one panel, how each Expert Advisor on your account is doing. It groups the account history by magic number and gives every EA its own row, with manual trades on a row of their own and a total at the bottom.

It only reads the account history and open positions. It never opens, changes or closes a trade.

For each EA

  • Closed trades, net result (profit + swap + commission + fee)
  • Win rate and profit factor
  • Max drawdown: the largest fall of the EA's realized result from its high
  • Today's result
  • Open positions and their floating profit or loss
  • Time of its latest deal
  • Tooltip: trades won and lost, gross profit and loss, expectancy per trade

Counted correctly

  • A trade belongs to the EA that opened it. If you close an EA's trade by hand, the result still counts for that EA, not for "Manual".
  • Partial closes are one trade: it is counted when the position is fully closed.
  • Commissions charged on entry are included.
  • Names: give your EAs names (magic=name), otherwise the comment of the EA's first trade is shown.

  • Names - magic=name, comma separated
  • Show manual trades - on; hide EAs with nothing to show - off
  • Panel corner, position, font size and colours

Good to know

  • It works on hedging and netting accounts, on the whole history the terminal has loaded. To see older trades, set the History tab to "All history".
  • Attach it to any chart; one copy per terminal is enough.

Paid version

EA Health Monitor Pro adds a period choice (today, this week, this month, all), the worst floating loss each EA has shown, a result curve per EA, alarms for floating loss, drawdown, an EA gone silent, Algo Trading off or a lost connection, and an HTML report with a CSV of the trades.
