Hector EA has been verified on continuous history from 2020 to the present — through all the major upheavals of this period: the pandemic, inflationary shocks, gold rallies and crashes, geopolitical turbulence. For the safest possible operation, a protective stop-loss mechanism has been implemented — its triggering creates a temporary maxDD that takes time to recover from. But in return you get the main thing — this protection prevents the account from being wiped out even in the harshest and most unpredictable market conditions.
The EA has passed robustness verification through an alpha test (using only the first orders without adding the grid), an out-of-sample test, and a forward test: the parameters were evaluated not only on history, but also on tick data that did not take part in the optimization (the period BEFORE and AFTER the optimized segment).
