Tomgoodcar Rebate For You V1 is an automated trading system (Expert Advisor) designed to execute trades based on predefined technical conditions. The primary objective of this EA is to generate trading volume through a systematic grid recovery approach.

Core Trading Logic:

1. First Entry Signal: The system utilizes the EMA 50 (Exponential Moving Average) on the current timeframe (M15 recommended) to filter the market direction.

   • If the closing price is above the EMA 50, the EA looks for BUY opportunities.

   • If the closing price is below the EMA 50, the EA looks for SELL opportunities.

   • Note: The first order is strictly trend-following; it does not open counter-trend positions when there are no active trades.

2. Recovery Grid System:

   • If the initial trade goes against the predicted direction, the EA activates a grid recovery mode to average the entry price.

   • The distance between subsequent orders (Grid Step) is dynamic. It calculates the current market volatility using the ATR (Average True Range) indicator on the M30 timeframe. During high volatility, the grid step automatically widens to avoid opening trades too closely together.

3. Lot Sizing Methods: Users can choose between two money management modes:

   • Martingale Mode: Subsequent order lot sizes are multiplied by a user-defined factor.

   • 8-Level Fix Lot (Safety Mode): Users define specific lot sizes for the first 8 levels. From the 9th order onwards, the lot size is capped at the level 8 value, preventing excessive risk accumulation.

4. Profit Taking & Trailing Stop:

   • Dynamic Target: The target profit for closing the basket adjusts based on the total number of open orders.

   • Infinite Trailing Stop (Optional): Once the target profit is reached, the EA can activate a trailing stop instead of closing immediately. It locks in the highest floating profit and closes the basket only when the profit drops by a predefined amount.

5. Risk Management Features:

   • Max Drawdown %: The EA will automatically close all trades (Cut Loss) if the floating drawdown reaches a user-defined percentage.

   • Daily Limits: Users can set daily profit targets or daily maximum loss limits. The EA stops trading for the day once these limits are met.

   • Margin Check: The system verifies the available free margin before sending any order to prevent broker errors.

   • Account Compatibility: This EA is strictly designed for Hedging accounts. If deployed on a Netting account, the grid features are automatically disabled to comply with validation standards.
