Overview

KS FX Sessions is a Forex Market Sessions Indicator for MetaTrader 5. It highlights the four trading sessions (London, New York, Tokyo, and Sydney) on the chart with colored boxes, labels, and tools.

Key Features

1. Session Visualization (4 Sessions)

  • London, New York, Tokyo, Sydney (each can be individually enabled/disabled)
  • Cutomize start & end times (entered in your chosen local timezone
  • Adjustable border width

2. Session Labels

  • Shows session name on the chart
  • Optional additions:
    • Day of the week
    • Price range (High – Low)
    • Range in pips
  • Label updates live during the active session

3. Analytical Tools (per session)

  • Fibonacci Levels (38.2%, 50%, 61.8%) — can be toggled globally or per session
  • Opening Range (custom duration in minutes, e.g., first 15 min):
    • Highlights the opening range
    • Optional R1 / S1 target extension lines after the opening range period ends
  • Open & Close Markers:
    • Dots at session open price and close price
    • Optional dashed line connecting open to close price

4. Custom Vertical Time Lines

  • Two independent vertical dashed lines with custom times (e.g., 11:00 and 17:00)
  • Custom label text above each line
  • Optional push/desktop alerts when the time is reached
  • Lines and labels are drawn and stay visible even when scrolling/zooming

5. Alerts System

Multiple alert categories (all respect push notification + desktop pop-up toggles):

  • Session Start / End alerts (per session or globally)
  • Opening Range Breakout (high or low break after OR period)
  • Post-Session High/Low Cross (price crossing the closed session's high or low later)
  • Vertical Time Line alerts

Alerts include clear details: session name, symbol, price, time, etc.

6. Timezone Handling

  • Choose your local timezone from an extensive list (GMT-12 to GMT+13, including half-hour offsets like IST, NPT, etc.)
  • Automatically detects broker server offset
  • All input times (sessions & vertical lines) are interpreted in your selected timezone
  • Info table shows current timezone label
