AutoFibonacci draws Fibonacci retracement and extension levels automatically. It finds the significant swing high and low on the chart itself, so the levels appear without you drawing anything, and they update as new highs and lows form.
Drawing Fibonacci by hand has a practical problem: you choose the swing. Two traders looking at the same chart pick different points and get different levels. This indicator removes that step.
It works on any symbol and any timeframe.
How the range is chosen
Three modes are available.
- Auto-detect uses the highest high and lowest low in the visible chart area. Scroll or zoom and the levels are recalculated for what you are looking at.
- Daily takes the range from daily bars over a number of days you set. Levels then stay the same when you switch timeframes, which is useful if you analyse on a higher timeframe and execute on a lower one.
- Manual uses a bar range you specify, with a direction setting.
Levels
Retracement levels: 0, 23.6, 38.2, 50, 61.8, 78.6 and 100 percent.
Extension levels: 127.2, 141.4, 161.8, 200 and 261.8 percent.
Every level can be switched off, and the ratio of every level can be edited. If you work with a ratio that is not in the standard set, change one of the values to it.
The two golden ratio levels, 38.2 and 61.8 percent, can be drawn in a separate colour and thickness so they stand apart from the rest. This is on by default.
Each level is labelled with its percentage and the exact price. A dotted line marks the swing the levels were measured from.
Alerts
The indicator can alert you when price breaks the previous day high or the previous day low. Each alert fires once per day and resets at the start of the next day.
Four channels are available and can be used together: a popup in the terminal, a sound, an email, and a push notification to the MetaTrader mobile app. Email and push must first be configured in Tools - Options - Notifications.

Fibonacci range
- AutoDetect - find the high and low from the visible chart

Notes
The indicator draws chart objects and plots no buffers, so it adds no lines to the Data Window. All objects it creates are removed when it is taken off the chart.
Fibonacci levels are reference points for analysis. They are not trading signals, and this indicator does not place orders.
