EA_Comment: you can type here a comment, if you wish to mark the Forex GOLD Investor trades.
MaxSpread: maximum allowed spread in cents.
Slippage: maximum allowed slippage in cents.
LongTrades: Enable/disable long trades (true/false).
ShortTrades: Enable/disable short trades (true/false).
AutoGMT_Offset: true/false - Change to false only if you want to use the ManualGMT_Offset in your live trading. In this case, please ensure that you have used the correct ManualGMT_Offset for your broker.
ManualGMT_Offset: For this parameter you have to set the winter GMT offset of your broker. This parameter is very important in case that you have disabled the AutoGMT_Offset=false and when you backtest the Forex GOLD Investor. If you set wrong value, then you may get unexpected results.
DST_Usage: true/false - If your broker shifts the GMT_Offset with +1 hour in the end of March and change it back in the end of October, you should set DST_Usage=true for live trading. This is important for the correct functioning of the second trading system (System2).
NFA: true/false - use "true" if your broker is NFA regulated.
No_Hedge: true/false - use "true" if you wish to cancel all hedge trades.
StealthMode: true/false - a mode which conceals stoploss and takeprofit levels in program logic, making them invisible to brokers. If you use this mode, the stoploss and takeprofit orders are not located in the trading server. In this case, if your trading terminal is not connected, or the robot is not working, your orders would not be protected. However, we are strongly encouraging using the StealthMode, because in some cases the visible StopLoss levels could be attacked tendentiously by algorithms that some unethical brokers could use.

Hi, I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience, but this statement is misleading and doesn’t reflect how Forex Gold Investor is intended to be used. Forex Gold Investor is a long-standing, proven EA. When configured correctly — with the recommended risk and the Protection Panel enabled — the EA is designed to preserve capital and deliver consistent, long-term performance. If an account was blown, it likely involved incorrect setup, excessive risk, trading on very small account, not using the protection panel, or using an unsuitable broker with high spreads or slippage. I always encourage users to contact me for help with settings, broker recommendations, or performance troubleshooting. I am confident that, when used properly, Forex Gold Investor can deliver the solid performance it’s known for.

I was following this EA for 1 year before I did bought him. I did noticed there were some huge losses but after some big UPGRADES I decided to buy him. The support is good so far. The backtests are very promising. I m using Forex Gold Investor now only on Darwinex Zero and IC Trading. If that goes good I will add him on other live accounts as Vantage, VT Markets and Darwinex. On Darwinex Zero I m using him as a propfirm settings and on IC Trading with normal settings. Both are set with Daily DD% and Account total DD%. In many groups is being said the EA is not "listening" to the DD safety settings but I can not confirm this at all at this moment. I will update later my results and opinion about the EA as well the support (presale and aftersale) which is also very important. Especially for beginner traders. So I will have a look at that also. But for now I'm satisfied.

UPDATE 01-05-2025: The Forex Gold Investor is indeed NOT listening to the settings you give. For example I did put a max of 3 losing trades and he should stop trading for that day. The losing trades are within the 24 hour timeframe with the broker settings. This makes it a dangerous EA for propfirms with DD rules but also on private LIVE accounts this "bug" is not making you happy. I do hope that the seller is listening to the sounds of what has been said in the trading groups as also in the Youtube movies from people who are making PR for them like Petko Alexandrov. Its nice when this one is making profits but 1-2 losings erase all the profits and more. For now I took it off the LIVE accounts because this EA can't be thrusted at the current version when he is overruling the financial management settings.

I've been testing this ea on live market for three months now and it has been profitable, also when i asked something to the vendor always responded betweeen 1-3 days, pretty happy with the robot and the support.

The strategy is at a long-term discount of 60%. I'm not surprised. When it finally stops being silent, this is the result for one day - minus 25%. I didn't initially understand that the discount amount refers to the account balance after a month of use.

Latest update 30th May 2025 - Mql5 market needs to ban this guy from producing EAs, this is my verdict. You create a tool, neglect its instability and inaccuracy. Neglect users' feedback on the tool losing a lot more than the allocated risk %. You ignore the fact that some uesless updates you may put in may have caused the tool not to behave as it should. Even when I told you weeks ago, you said I am supposed to reduce the risk percentage... well well, I reduced it to 2%. It just took a bit longer, as if bleeding out slowly to drain thre account. Congratulations my friend, you have wiped an account. Even as a manual trader, none of my accounts ever when through such horrifying series of trades and loss behavior.

Latest update 17th May 2025 - This EA was glorious and I knew that I had it on a 5% risk per trade setting. Unfortunately, the EA was risking more than 5% per trade, as it lost more than 5% of balance per trade whenever it lost. It got to a stage where it lost about 90% of portfolio. Under specific market conditions, this EA provides greats returns, otherwise, it will wipe your account out, especially because it doesn't follow the risk settings and other settings put in the place. The seller is nice but doesn't want to accept that his EA is not following the risk percentage. Instead he says I should lower risk. If I lower my risk, than it presently is, then it's not worth it for me. Bottom line is that my risk percentage isn't respected by the EA, and the doom started when it had 9 huge losses in a row. Lastly, the backtest result doesn't match live result, hence if you create EAs like me, you are unable to create an optimized setting for this EA because when it's put in the live market, the EA performs differently, confirming that it doesn't adhere to the setting, especially the risk percentage.

Purchased this EA a few days back and have been using it for my clearing my prop firm challenge keeping daily risk at just 0.3% and so far the EA is performing well. Excited to see its long term results.

As requested by many of our users, we’ve added a new parameter to the EA’s Time Management System called DailyCloseHour.

By default, DailyCloseHour is set to -1, which means it’s inactive. To enable it, simply set a value between 0 and 23, corresponding to the hour you’d like the EA to close all open trades for the day.

For example:
If you set DailyCloseHour = 22, the EA will automatically close all open trades at 22:00 each day and will not open new trades until the next day begins.

This feature can be particularly useful in the following situations:

1. Your broker applies high swap fees for holding positions overnight.

2. Your broker pauses trading overnight, increasing the risk of price gaps upon market reopening.

If these scenarios don’t apply to your trading environment, you can leave the parameter disabled.

Please note: while this setting provides added risk management, it may occasionally close trades prematurely, resulting in small losses. We strongly recommend testing this parameter in the Strategy Tester before using it on a live account to ensure it aligns with your trading goals.

Here’s what’s new in v1.99:

1. Brand-new Auto GMT system for accurate time sync

We have completely rebuilt the Auto GMT system from the ground up. It now accurately detects the GMT offset of your broker, regardless of the time zone. The only setting users need to configure is the DST_Usage parameter, which offers three options:

- DST None – Select this if your broker does not switch between summer and winter time.

- EU DST – Select this if your broker follows European Daylight Saving Time (from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October).

- US DST – Select this if your broker follows U.S. Daylight Saving Time (from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November).

Once the correct DST setting is selected, the EA will handle the rest automatically.

Auto GMT works only if our website url is added on your terminal "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" configuration.

2. New Protection Parameter: Maximum Losing Trades Per Day

Maximum Losing Trades Per Day – This parameter sets a daily limit on losing trades.

For example, if set to 2, the EA will monitor all closed trades and stop opening new trades for the rest of the day once 2 losses are detected (resetting at the defined daily reset hour).

We recommend testing different values (e.g., 2–4) in backtests to find the ideal setting for your strategy and risk tolerance.

- StopLossRange: The default value is 50! Defines the allowed range (in points) for randomizing the Stop Loss value. The default setting of 50 points means the Stop Loss can vary randomly within ±50 points from the original value.

- OpenPriceMinDeviation: The default value is 5 points! Sets the minimum deviation (in points) of the open price from the original price when entry randomization is enabled.
- OpenPriceMaxDeviation: The default value is 100 points! Sets the maximum deviation (in points) of the open price from the original price when entry randomization is enabled.

New updated version with drawdown protection functions. In the new updated version (v1.94) we’ve integrated variety of protections as follows:

The values of the protections can be edited in the EA inputs and also in the new Protection panel shown on the chart.
The default values (0.00) mean that the respective protection is not active.
Some traders need such protections in “Prop Firm” challenges.
We will refrain from recommending specific values. However Max daily drawdown %=4-6 shows reasonable results decreasing the drawdown and increasing the Recovery Factor in the last several months.
We are obliged to inform you, that using such protections could decrease the overall profit in long-term.
Each trader must decide for himself whether to use these protections and at what values.

1. I have added a Time Management System in this version. Thanks to the Time Management System you can configure the EA to trade only on the best hours. It is not necessary to use the Time Management System - it is developed by request of my users. Even without the Time Management System Forex Gold Investor is profitable.
2. I have removed the parameter Order_Filling_Fok. The EA will automatically detect the best supported filling mode and use it while placing orders.
