  • WinLargeFonts: true/false - use "true" to adjust the robot information box display in case you are using the Windows Large Fonts.
  • UseSystem1: true/false - enables/disables the trading of System1
  • UseSystem2: true/false - enables/disables the trading of System2
  • EA_Comment: you can type here a comment, if you wish to mark the Forex GOLD Investor trades.
  • MaxSpread: maximum allowed spread in cents.
  • Slippage: maximum allowed slippage in cents.
  • LongTrades: Enable/disable long trades (true/false).
  • ShortTrades: Enable/disable short trades (true/false).
  • AutoGMT_Offset: true/false - Change to false only if you want to use the ManualGMT_Offset in your live trading. In this case, please ensure that you have used the correct ManualGMT_Offset for your broker.
  • ManualGMT_Offset: For this parameter you have to set the winter GMT offset of your broker. This parameter is very important in case that you have disabled the AutoGMT_Offset=false and when you backtest the Forex GOLD Investor. If you set wrong value, then you may get unexpected results.
  • DST_Usage: true/false - If your broker shifts the GMT_Offset with +1 hour in the end of March and change it back in the end of October, you should set DST_Usage=true for live trading. This is important for the correct functioning of the second trading system (System2).
  • NFA: true/false - use "true" if your broker is NFA regulated.
  • No_Hedge: true/false - use "true" if you wish to cancel all hedge trades.
  • StealthMode: true/false - a mode which conceals stoploss and takeprofit levels in program logic, making them invisible to brokers. If you use this mode, the stoploss and takeprofit orders are not located in the trading server. In this case, if your trading terminal is not connected, or the robot is not working, your orders would not be protected. However, we are strongly encouraging using the StealthMode, because in some cases the visible StopLoss levels could be attacked tendentiously by algorithms that some unethical brokers could use.

I bought this EA after watching Petko's review on Youtube. Based on Petko's review, the system 1 and system 2 are profitable and I have used it for more than 1 week with System 2. So far, it is a great gold scalper during New York session but it only took Buy trades. So, have to monitor the market as I foresee it might not work for all market conditions especially in very volatile or bearish market.

PLEASEEEE, update the EA is ridiculous burning accounts, it just works in a bull market, ( is perfect ) but in a bear market is ridiculous almost never sells, just buy against the trend burning your capital, once again please upgrade fixing what people are saying, LISTEN, DD%, limit of losing trades not working, and sell mode because it doesn't exist. I would recommend waiting to buy this EA until further fixes are made to avoid wasting your money.

I have had this EA for 5 months now. Any interested buyer should look at the official myfxbook account (Forex GOLD Investor REAL) for the forex gold investor before it is deleted. The EA has been unable to consistently maintain gains above the amount the account had 2 years ago, the beginning of August 2023. THE OFFICIAL EA ACCOUNT HAS BEEN UNABLE TO MAINTAIN PROFITS WITHOUT BLOWING THEM FOR 2 YEARS. This has been consistent with my personal trading experience as well. The EA will perform an impressive series of wins followed by a catastrophic drawdown. This pattern repeats itself with standard settings and all the various risk settings in between. I've probably generated close to 2 dozen different setfiles for this EA and none of them have been able to prevent the catastrophic drawdowns. The much vaunted "account protection settings" are insufficient to redeem the EA. They can tell the EA to shut down, but this does little to prevent most of the large drawdowns that the trader generates. I will explain why below: If we look at the heavy drawdowns on the official myfxbook forex gold investor account, we will see that they occur either from a few trades with huge losses, or from a consecutive series of smaller loosing trades. In either instance, most of the serious losses occur from trades that were opened in consecutive order, within a relatively close time of each other. By the time the first loosing trades send the signal to activate the drawdown protection, the other loosing trades are typically already opened and therefore, must be closed to prevent losses before the EA can turn itself off. For example, a series of 4 loosing trades are opened around 2 o'clock. Around 3 o'clock, the first two loosing trades close at a 5% drawdown and activate the account protection. The next 2 loosing trades are already opened and because of this, the activated protection settings cannot prevent the loss. While the protection settings DO effectively prevent recovery loss trades following a large drawdown, they typically are unable to prevent the bulk of the drawdown for the reasons outlined above. Don't believe the vendors when they respond to negative reviews by stating that the recommended settings and account protections would have prevented massive losses. Their personal account is at the same gains it was at two years ago, so the main issue lies with the EA, not the users reporting losses. While the description quality and user support are both good, I gave everything one star because we all know that people look at the ratings to determine an EA's profitability.

Hello my friend Can i understand the logic behind one loosing trade can exceed the total profit of 4 or 5 trades ????!!!! Even if the EA is performing well and let us say it won 5 trades in a row, all will be disappeared on the first loss !!! That is super frustrating ,,, and many people kept sending you feedback with this bad performance and no update is never there to tackle the issue !!! It burn a lot of account ! If an account was blown, it likely involved incorrect setup, excessive risk, trading on very small account, not using the protection panel, or using an unsuitable broker with high spreads or slippage. Initial Impression I monitored the Forex Gold Investor EA for a full year before deciding to purchase a license. Initially, I observed some significant drawdowns, but after the developers released major upgrades, I gained enough confidence to proceed. I must give credit where it is due: the customer support is responsive and helpful.

UPDATE: 01-05-2025 There is a growing consensus in various trading communities that this EA fails to adhere to its own Drawdown (DD) safety settings. Unfortunately, I have confirmed this to be true. The software appears to ignore user-defined parameters within the Protection Panel. Specifically, I configured a hard limit of "Max 3 losing trades" per day, expecting the EA to stop trading if this threshold was reached. However, the EA ignored this rule and continued to open new positions despite hitting the limit.

UPDATE: 03-12-2025 After extensive testing on Darwinex, Darwinex Zero, IC Trading, and RoboForex, I have made the decision to remove this EA from all LIVE accounts.

However, I have kept the EA running fully on all my demo accounts across these different brokers. My goal is to continue monitoring the performance to see if the EA can eventually prove itself and achieve a Profit Factor higher than 1.0 over the long term.

For now, my decision to stop live trading is based on the following critical issues:

1. Risk Management Failure: The EA executes losing trades that violate the internal safety settings and broker time limits. This "bug" makes the software extremely dangerous for Prop Firms (which have strict daily drawdown rules) and equally unsafe for private capital.

2. Live Performance Metrics: The performance on LIVE accounts is concerning. Based on a verified sample size of over 200 trades, the specific strategies 30001, 30002, and 30003 consistently show a Profit Factor below 1.0. This indicates a structural failure in these strategies under real market conditions.

3. Profit/Loss Ratio: While the EA can generate profits, the risk-to-reward ratio is unbalanced. Just one or two losing trades often wipe out all previous gains—and more.
