Fibonacci Confluence Suite
Short description
Fibonacci Confluence Suite is a chart-window indicator for MetaTrader 5. It builds a Fibonacci grid from confirmed swing highs and lows, marks the levels where projections from earlier swings overlap, and adds a Golden Pocket zone, Fibonacci time zones, touch statistics and a compact status panel. All levels are calculated from closed bars only.
Overview
Drawing retracement levels by hand usually means three separate steps: finding the swing, pulling the grid, and then deciding which levels deserve attention. This indicator combines those steps and adds one more thing that is difficult to do manually: every extension level is compared with the projections of several earlier swing legs, so the levels where those projections overlap are marked automatically.
The indicator is an analysis tool. It does not generate trade signals, does not place or manage orders, and does not perform any money management functions.
What it draws
Swing detection
Candidate pivot highs and lows are identified with a five-bar fractal pattern. Inside a lookback window, the highest fractal high and the lowest fractal low become the swing anchors. The Delay parameter shifts the window backwards so a fractal is used only after it has been confirmed by subsequent bars. Only closed bars are read, no future data is referenced, and values calculated for past bars do not change later.
Level grid
Two base lines (0.000 and 1.000, which are the swing anchors themselves) plus up to nine extension levels with editable ratios. The default set is 0.236, 0.382, 0.500, 0.618 and 0.786; four more levels (1.272, 1.414, 1.618 and 2.000) can be switched on. Colour, line style (solid, dotted, dashed, arrow) and width are set separately for base lines and extension lines.
Multi-swing confluence
Each extension level is compared with the projections of up to five earlier swing legs, calculated in both directions, from the low upwards and from the high downwards. Levels that match a projection within the tolerance are drawn thicker and carry a marker in their label. The number of prior swings, the tolerance as a percentage of the swing range, the extra width and the marker character are all configurable.
Golden Pocket
A semi-transparent band between 0.618 and 0.650, with adjustable colour and transparency.
Touch statistics
The indicator counts the bars on which price traded through each level while the current swing leg remains unchanged, and shows the count in the level label. The counter resets when the swing anchors move, so the figure describes the current leg rather than the whole chart history.
Fibonacci time zones
Vertical lines are projected to the right of the swing anchor at Fibonacci bar intervals (1, 2, 3, 5, 8 and so on). Single colour or a cycling palette is available, and zone numbers can be shown as labels. The maximum number of zones is 15.
Status panel
A small panel in one of the chart corners shows the current direction, the swing high, the swing low, the level closest to the current price, the level with the highest touch count, and the lookback period currently in use. Panel position and bullish or bearish colours are configurable.
Adaptive sensitivity
An optional function. When it is enabled, the lookback window expands or contracts according to the ratio between the current ATR and its baseline: the window shortens when volatility rises and lengthens when volatility falls. ATR period and baseline length are configurable. When the function is off, every bar uses the fixed period.
Watermark
One line of custom text can be shown at the bottom centre of the chart in a dark or light theme. Leaving the text field empty hides it.
Input parameters
Parameters are arranged in logical groups. All names are in English.
Swing Detection
Period sets the lookback window, 200 by default. Delay sets the number of confirmation bars and must be smaller than Period. Line Extension controls whether levels are extended left, right or to both sides. Reverse Direction inverts the calculation direction of the grid.
Base Lines
Separate switches for 0.000 and 1.000, plus colour, style and width.
Extension Lines
Nine pairs of switch and ratio. Any ratio can be entered; a common set is provided by default. One shared colour, style and width applies to all of them.
Golden Pocket
Switch, fill colour and transparency, where 0 is opaque and 100 is fully transparent.
Level Strength and Multi-Swing Confluence
Show Touch Count controls whether the count appears in the labels. The confluence block holds the switch, the number of prior swings to compare, the tolerance as a percentage of the swing range, the extra width for confluent lines and the marker character.
Adaptive Sensitivity
Switch, ATR period, ATR baseline length.
Time Zones
Switch, number of zones from 1 to 15, colour, multi-colour switch, line style and zone label switch.
Status Table and Watermark
Panel switch, corner position, bullish colour and bearish colour; watermark theme and text.
Alerts
The indicator can show a pop-up alert when price touches a visible level or enters the Golden Pocket. Pop-ups are disabled by default and are enabled from the input parameters. Each level triggers at most one pop-up per bar. The indicator does not display any advertising or unrelated messages.
Usage notes
The indicator works on any symbol and any timeframe. On lower timeframes swings change more often, so a larger Period and Delay usually gives a calmer picture. A minimum amount of history is required on first load, equal to the lookback period plus the delay plus a buffer; if the chart has fewer bars, the indicator writes a note to the log and waits.
A maximum of the most recent 10000 bars takes part in the calculation, which keeps refreshing responsive on large charts. Time zones projected into the future are estimated linearly from the timeframe length, so their position shifts slightly across closed sessions and weekends. This is a known approximation.
Fibonacci levels are one way of observing price structure and are not trading instructions. The indicator uses no DLL, accesses no external network resources, reads no account information and applies no restrictions based on the environment.
