New update,  but same problems. My platforms work slowly, charts frozen, since update 5640. Actually it's worse now. Last week I could work with at least one open platform, now not even that. I usually  worked with 5 open platforms, which is now totally impossible.

 I am seriously considering stopping working with metatrader, after many years of doing so. I will file the appropriate complaints with my brokers.

I have the lastest version of Metatrader for Mac installed on my Macbook Air (Tahoe 26.4) and it randomly shuts down, when putting in an order. When I re open my Metatrader 5, the orders have been placed. Does anyone have an idea of what a solution for this can be?

Many users, myself included, have found running MT5 on macOS to be tricky due to compatibility issues. One solution that works well is using Windows via Parallels Desktop on your Mac. This setup tends to be stable, allowing you to focus on your trading strategy without worrying about it randomly shutting down or other technical headaches. Hope this helps, and good luck!

Thanks for the comment. MT5 worked perfectly with an older OS, this I find so strange.

I think in Dark mode the blue entries in the Toolbox and the blue graphics in the Toolbars are to hard to read or to recognize, especially in a brightly lit environment.
May you consider to make those brighter?

I am also having issues with MT5 for Mac with Tahoe 24.6 - Updated my OS this week, and now every time I change timeframe or pair, MT5 starts resizing and colors on the app changing. Also crashes after a while - the whole MT5 screen will be dark gray (assuming this is because I have it on Dark Mode) - and requires me to force quit the app, and reload it - sometimes it will reload, other times the app will no longer reopen, requiring me to restart my laptop. A lot of issues with MT5 for Mac now. Also Tahoe is sent a notification saying from 2027 MacOS will no longer support Intel based apps - So hopefully Metaquotes will build an app specifically for Mac soon
