Bank of England committee member Wil noted in an interview with the FT last night that the Bank of England should be prepared to raise
rates', as back in August. Whilst a rate hike as only this is unlikely, in our view, Wil's comments in highlighting that as a
hawk he is ready to return in a vote for a rate hike. Our economists expect the Bank of England to deliver its first rate hike in February,
ahead of the current market pricing in a rate hike in May and suggesting there is scope for further yield support for GBP.

the pound is stronger the other way round it is understandable they see it. but today the american GDP should go up.
