Why today will be boring?
No volume, No volatility (11 pips range so far). No news. Biggest news for EURUSD is "Belgian NBB Business Climate" which may move Euro for a 1/2 a pips. Only some political even can move this today
This is what I meant - 22 pips range so far. And it will close at daily open (or somewhere near it). There is no will to change anything today
Typical Friday lul
Nobody wants to risk too much now with all that is going on with Ukraine. From previous experiences armed conflicts tend to start on weekends (politicians and army adore to do that when all should rest) and traders know that. If I had to guess, the volume in forex right now is at its lowest in a long, long time

Yes, boring day today. But I am already looking to next week. A lot of action next week.
While US 1Q GDP will be frail, this is weather, and old news. Meanwhile Euro zone CPI may inch up due to Easter effect. US employment report should come out decent.
My core position is short EUR vs. USD. The US economy is coming out stronger,while Euro zone should struggle. Important is that strong Euro is further pushing down infation, and ECB will have to step in and ease the policy. The least what ECB will do is to talk down the Euro, but probably they will do more and do real easing with QE or negative deposit rate.
