I am testing Firebird with timefilter since 03rd of January this year. I changed many brokers and accounts (I started to test with Alpari, then 2 accounts in North Finance. Probable I will change the broker for this EA as well (to IBFX).

The statements posted on the post #189 is the statement from my recent Metatrader and recent demo account.
The problem is that I had to summarize everything and a lot of figures.
Anyway this EA is tested since January this year and I will create excel file for testing results and it will be more good visually to see monthly profit and so on.
I am sorry - I know that I should mention the starting time for testing in total leaders. But we will have excel files for EAs with profit monthly so it will be mentioned there.
I have run a backtest of Firebir65tf for the last 6 months on EUR/USD M30 at 90% Quality. My results show a large loss as opposed to your forward test results of good gains. I'm running on IBFX, do I need to change the hours traded? Any other insight into the settings that I ran the test with?

EricProbable yes because server time for IBFX is totally different. Did you use my pre-set file?
Anyway I am having the same opinion with you. I started to test Firebird EAs versions about two years ago and my opinion is very different from some people: It is not profitable EA.
Of course it may be profitable for some period of time and we should change the settings all the time periodically and so on ... But I am not doing it.
I am testing Firebird because it is very famous EA. For this reason only.
I wanted to stop testing Firebird but many people like this EA. To say the true it is nothing with "i like it" or "i don't like it". Many people hope to increase deposit very quickly. Just hope.
As to the differences between backtesting and forward testing results (I forward tested it since January this year) so look at the previous posts which I and other people did: sometimes this EA opens many orders at the time (20 or 50 at once). If the orders are closing in profit so EA is winning (the first place). If not - very big loss. It is in profit mostly with timefilter. That is why I am using this timefilter. We can not see it in backtesting so probable it is the bug as many people said already.
That is why I calculated pips for total leaders with and without Firebird.
So Firebird is having "the first place" because of this "may-be-bug" only. And it is lossing money slowly without it.
It was an idea to use this EA in particular market condition only. But in this case this EA will not trade often.
Just look at the forward statements below and you will understand why this EA is in total leaders and (why I wanted to stop testing it):

BagovinoI am using attached EAs with pre-set files. Please change the time in EA with timefilter (8 - 17) according to your broker.
