Backtesting of Nina's system has great results.
Isn't that nice?
BTW, I've changed the name of the thread "The easiest...." for CatFx50.
There is another one coming that it will be called "CatFx16". I wanted to have the systems numbered.
Sorry and thank you!!!
A brief explanation of the name "CatFx50":
Cat: the abbreviation of my country: Catalonia.
The same, except MA16. (This a brand new system. Nothing to do with CatFx50). Don't worry, I'm not a seller.
You're inspirational. Thanks for sharing your methods.
EURUSD was a buy at 1.2009 (09:30cet). Made a high so far at 1.2038. +29pips.
It was a sell at 1.1999 (15:30cet). Made a low at 1.1933. +63pips.
USDCHF was a buy at 1.2850 (10:00cet). Made a high at 1.2856. And then was a sell at 1.2819. -37 pips.
That sell made a low at 1.2814. Closed at 1.2841 for a lost of -27 pips.
Then was a buy at 1.2844. Made a high at 1.2915. +71pips.
GBPUSD was a sell at 1.7668 (16:00cet) ---- It could have been shorted before as it has speed in its way down (news time, though)-----.
Made a low at 1.7619. +49. I know, I know; it made a low after a bounce (1.7619-1.7673) at 1.7611, but, as I think we protect our gains, lets count it like we've made till now.
TOTAL: (29+63+71+49)-(37+27) = +148 pips!!!
your yesterday's GBPUSD trade at 11:00CET (31 pips):
how did you manage to exit at exactly low (1.7685) of the 30 min bar?????? What is you exit strategy?
BTW, I like your frog - nice eyes
Weekly recap till now:
Monday 12: 452 pips.
Tuesday 13: 114 pips.
Wednesday: 31 pips.
Thursday: 148 pips.
TOTAL: 745 pips!!!!
Also with today's trades. All were exited at exactly low or high of the bar. How did you catch them???
Or your trades are just a theory?
What we are counting here is the potenciality of the system.
As far as we see, the system gives an amazing percentage of winning entries. So we know that when we have a cross TF30 and an opening of next bar below/above EMA50 validated always by StepMa, all we get are pips in the majority of entries.
So the question of "When to enter?" is already solved. But now we have the other big questions to be answered: "When to exit?".
I've said that to play this FOREX game (metaphorically speaking) we need to have a nice account. For me, it should be above $50k.
That amount will allow us to trade multiple lots. If I feel confident, cause I see speed and a clear cross, I go with 5 lots. I switch then to TF5 and look what's going on there. I have Shi-Cannel too and fibopivots. If I see StepMa crossing against my possie, I begin to square.
Beerhunter, there is not an exit as clear as an entry methodology. And I think it is impossible to exit at the very lows and highs.
