The colours still can't be customised. And yes, for those who use foreign and closed source code, this can be a major inconvenience.
I didn't understand "foreign and closed source code". What did you mean?

OK

If I want to hit a button, I have to click a few cms to the left of it. I am using Ubuntu with the wine version of MT5, using the installation script.

What you posted is missing essential information about your exact config.

Colours can be customized. What is the problem ?

If you're referring to changing indicator colours, I'm using Linux Mint 22.3 and changing indicator colours has been working for years, but there's a trick to it:

In the colour window, double-click on the colour square and, on the keyboard, hold down the ALT key (left) and press down arrow. This will open the colour menu.

I think there's a bug with the graphical interface, but this shortcut works fine.

Compiled files by unauthorised people.

I still don't quite understand your point. Anyone can create and compile indicators, including those native to MT5. Apart from that, I don't see any other way of doing it (is it a workaround?), unless the indicator code has an error. The real problem is the colour picker bug via Wine, which affects both native and custom indicators, but which can be worked around using the trick Marciano posted in #344. I myself didn't know about this keyboard tip until I read his comment.
