Today Lucky Dogs Trading Systems launches Pitbull Gold, a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for gold (XAUUSD) that places every trade with its stop loss and take profit on the broker's server from the first second, and grows its lot along with your balance.
Pitbull is built to run on a slice of your account: every trade has its estimated loss set by your profile before it opens, the lot follows the balance, and you check the panel once a day.
Backtest results
Measured in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester with every tick based on real ticks, real spread and commission. Each year restarts at 10,000 USD, on the default Balanced profile. Each cell shows the year's return / that year's maximum equity drawdown, measured on every tick:
| Profile (return / drawdown) | 2026 through September | 2025 | 2024 | 2023 | 2022 | 2021 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Balanced | +653% / 19% | +478% / 14% | +34% / 30% | +107% / 31% | -16% / 44% | +32% / 38% |
- 47 of 69 positive months and a profit factor of 2.87 in one continuous backtest from 2021 to September 2026, on Balanced.
- The weak years are there too: 2022 closed at -16% and 2024 at +34%, with drawdowns of 44% and 30%. 2025 and 2026 were exceptional years, with gold in a strong rally: they are not a rate to project forward.
Why "stop on the server" matters
With Pitbull, the stop and the target travel to your broker's server together with the order: if your internet drops or your computer shuts down, the trade stays protected. No grid, no martingale, no averaging down. The risk profile you choose sets the estimated cost of a trade, from about 1% of the balance on Conservative to 5% on Maximum.
What it includes
- Five risk profiles: choosing the profile is the whole setup.
- An automatic lot that grows with the account, a fixed lot, or a lot calculated on a fixed slice of the account (to share it with other EAs or for a prop firm).
- A daily loss limit, a lot cap, an optional pause around high-impact US news, and an optional Short Friday for accounts that cannot hold anything over the weekend.
- An on-chart panel with the account, execution, the EA's own risk, and results for the day, week, month and all time.
- Any broker with gold in USD, any symbol name, one chart.
Launch price
The first 10 copies sell for 99 USD. After that, the price rises by 50 USD every 10 copies up to 999 USD, then by 100 USD every 10 copies up to 2,499 USD. From there, it rises with demand, up to a final price of 2,999 USD. It goes up with sales, never with the calendar. Pitbull is new on the Market: early buyers take on more uncertainty, and they pay less for it.
During the launch you can also rent it for 1 month at 30 USD, to see it live on your broker.
