Why Broker Execution Matters for Falcon FX Scalping EA

Falcon FX is a Forex scalping Expert Advisor designed for MetaTrader 4 and 5.

Because the system focuses on relatively small market movements, the trading conditions provided by your broker can have a meaningful effect on the actual result.

The same Falcon FX settings can produce different results on different accounts because execution conditions are not always identical.

## Why Broker Conditions Matte
When a scalping EA opens and closes trades frequently, trading costs become an important part of the equation.

The main factors to watch are:

• Spread
• Slippage
• Commission
• Execution speed
• Liquidity
• Connection stability
• Broker symbol specifications

A backtest may look very different from live trading if the real account has wider spreads or higher slippage.

This is why I recommend evaluating Falcon FX on your actual broker conditions rather than relying only on historical backtests.

## Spread Is Important for a Scalping EA
Falcon FX includes a Maximum Spread setting that prevents new trades when the spread is above the configured limit.

The default setting in the User Manual is 5 pips.

However, the lower the actual trading cost, the more suitable the environment generally is for a scalping strategy.

For this reason, Falcon FX is designed with ECN / RAW-style accounts in mind.

Look for account types such as:

• Raw
• Raw Spread
• ECN
• Zero
• Razor

Always check the broker's current spread and commission structure because account conditions can change.

## Slippage Can Change the Result
Slippage is the difference between the requested price and the actual execution price.

For a scalping strategy, even relatively small differences can matter because the strategy is targeting smaller price movements.

Falcon FX therefore includes a Maximum Slippage setting.

The default value in the User Manual is 5 pips.

If you repeatedly observe unfavorable slippage, investigate the broker execution conditions before increasing your lot size.

One losing trade does not automatically mean that there is an execution problem.

Look for a repeated pattern across multiple trades.

## Test on Demo First
Before moving Falcon FX to a live account, start with a demo account or the smallest practical lot.

The User Manual recommends running the system for at least one week with 0.01 lot or on demo so that you can understand how your broker handles orders.

During this period, pay attention to:

• Average spread
• Entry slippage
• Exit slippage
• Execution speed
• Rejected orders
• Connection stability
• Trading costs

The goal is not simply to see whether the first few trades are profitable.

The goal is to understand how Falcon FX behaves with your broker.

## Use a Small Lot When Going Live
When moving from demo to live trading, start small.

A profitable first few trades are not a reason to immediately increase the lot size.

The market conditions can change, and live execution can differ from demo execution.

Falcon FX also provides several position-sizing methods, including fixed lot sizing and risk-based sizing.

The User Manual suggests starting with 0.01 lot or a lower-risk preset for beginners.

## What About VPS?
A VPS can help keep MetaTrader running continuously during the trading week.

This is particularly useful for an automated EA because the robot needs MT4 to remain connected and running.

A VPS can also reduce communication latency when it is located close to the broker's trading server.

However, a VPS cannot guarantee a particular execution price.

It cannot create liquidity, eliminate spread or prevent the broker from applying its own trading restrictions.

The purpose of the VPS is mainly to provide stable, continuous operation.

## Falcon FX Broker Requirements
For Falcon FX, the User Manual recommends looking for:

• Low-spread ECN / RAW pricing
• Low slippage
• Fast and stable execution
• MetaTrader 4
• Hedging account
• Leverage of 1:50 or higher
• A regulated and established broker

The manual also explains that broker symbol suffixes and server GMT settings may need to be configured correctly.

For example, if your broker uses a symbol such as EURUSD.raw or EURUSDm, the corresponding suffix should be entered in the Falcon FX settings.

## Brokers Mentioned in the Falcon FX Manual
The current Falcon FX User Manual lists several brokers whose account conditions can fit the EA's requirements:

Tickmill
IC Markets
Pepperstone

The live Falcon FX signal in the manual is running on Tickmill.

However, broker conditions can change, and users should independently check the current account type, execution conditions, regulation and availability in their country before opening an account.

These broker references should not be interpreted as a guarantee of performance.

## One Chart Is Enough
Falcon FX is designed to scan multiple Forex pairs from a single M5 chart.

The core pairs in the default configuration are:

EURUSD
GBPUSD
AUDUSD

AUDCAD

The EA can scan the configured symbol list from one EURUSD M5 chart.

Do not attach the same EA to multiple charts unless you specifically intend to run separate instances.

Running duplicate instances can result in unintended trades.

## Check Your Execution Before Increasing Risk
If Falcon FX is running but the results are different from your expectations, don't immediately increase the lot size.

First check:

1. Is the spread consistently acceptable?
2. Are there repeated slippage problems?
3. Is the broker executing orders correctly?
4. Is the MT4 connection stable?
5. Are the symbol names configured correctly?
6. Is the EA running on the intended timeframe?
7. Is the VPS or computer staying online?

The Experts and Journal tabs in MT4 can also provide useful information when investigating execution problems.

## Final Thoughts
A Forex scalping EA is not operating in a vacuum.

The broker, account type and execution environment are part of the overall trading setup.

With Falcon FX, the objective is therefore not simply to find a broker with an attractive advertised spread.

The more important question is:

How does the broker actually execute my trades?

Start with demo testing or a small live position, monitor the execution conditions, and only increase risk after you have enough real trading information to understand your setup.

Falcon FX does not guarantee profits, and past or simulated results do not guarantee future performance.

Trade with a level of risk you can afford and always verify your broker's current conditions before trading live.
