TwinSweep is a fully automated Expert Advisor that trades gold (XAUUSD) and bitcoin (BTCUSD) from a single chart. It looks for the liquidity that rests beyond recent swing highs and swing lows on the M15 timeframe and places stop orders just past those levels, so a trade opens only when price actually runs through them. Four independent sleeves, two on each market, spread the exposure across breakout and trend conditions. Every order carries a stop loss and a take profit from the moment it is placed. No martingale, no grid, no averaging down.

Balanced: 1.25% risk per order (default)
Aggressive: 2% risk per order
Up to four positions can be open at the same time, so the combined risk can reach four times the setting. The EA prints this figure in the Experts tab when it starts.
Requirements and Recommendations
Symbols : XAUUSD and BTCUSD. Broker names such as GOLD#, XAUUSDm or BTCUSDc are detected automatically.
Chart : one BTCUSD chart, any timeframe.
Account: hedging recommended. On a netting account the EA runs one sleeve per symbol.
Account type: standard, cent or micro. A low-spread account is recommended.
Deposit: 2,000 USD or more on a standard account. With less, the minimum gold lot of 0.01 can risk more than the setting
(about 50 USD per trade at recent volatility). Cent accounts suit smaller deposits.
VPS: recommended, because bitcoin trades at weekends and stops are managed continuously.
Key Features
Liquidity sweep entries: buy stops above confirmed swing highs and sell stops below confirmed swing lows, moved as new swings form. Two sleeves per market: a short-term breakout sleeve and a higher-timeframe trend sleeve. Adaptive stop loss: placed at the opposite swing and capped by an ATR-based distance. Take profit at twice the stop distance, with a profit lock and a stepped trailing stop. Gold trading window from 04:00 to 18:00 server time (17:00 on Friday). Bitcoin trades around the clock. Spread filter: no new orders while the spread is above 1 USD on gold or 50 USD on bitcoin. Risk % or fixed lot sizing within the broker's volume limits, with a free margin check before each order. Careful order handling: trading hours, market holidays, stop levels and freeze levels are checked before every request.
Inputs
Lot mode : Risk % of balance or Fixed lot.
Risk % per order : used in Risk % mode (default 1.25).
Lots per order : used in Fixed lot mode (default 0.01).
Gold symbol and Bitcoin symbol: keep the defaults. The EA finds the names your broker uses.
Trade gold and Trade bitcoin: switch either market off.
Magic number: base value. The sleeves use +1 and +2 for gold and +11 and +12 for bitcoin.
1. Open a BTCUSD chart (any timeframe) and attach the EA.
2. Allow Algo Trading and set the lot mode and risk.
3. Check the Experts tab: it lists the gold and bitcoin symbols found and the combined risk.
To backtest, select BTCUSD in the Strategy Tester with "Every tick" or "Every tick based on real ticks".
Gold history loads automatically.
