Gold Liquidity Sweep MT5 detects the moment when price sweeps beyond a key high or low, traps traders on the wrong side, and reverses. This is the classic "stop hunt" that institutions use to fill large orders before the real move begins.
Most traders see a breakout and chase it. Smart money sees a liquidity grab and fades it. This indicator identifies those moments with a multi-factor scoring system and tells you when the reversal has enough evidence to act on.
--- WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT ---
Every liquidity sweep is not equal.
A sweep at $4,500 during Asia session with DXY rising is fundamentally different from a sweep at $4,517 during London with DXY falling. This indicator scores each setup on multiple factors and only fires when the evidence crosses your threshold.
No other liquidity sweep indicator on MQL5 combines session filtering, DXY alignment, and psych level confluence into a single scoring engine.
--- HOW IT WORKS ---

Range Detection: the indicator tracks the highest high and lowest low over a configurable lookback (default 34 bars).

Sweep Detection: when price penetrates beyond that range with a strong wick rejection, a "seed" event is registered. The wick size, penetration depth, and volume are scored.

Confirmation Window: over the next 1-5 bars, the indicator watches for price to reclaim back inside the range. Close location, body strength, and directional momentum are scored.

Multi-Factor Score: sweep quality + reclaim quality + volume + target room + trend alignment are combined into a final score (0-100). Only setups above your minimum score threshold (default 66) generate signals.

BUY/SELL Arrow: a green or red arrow appears at the confirmed bar.
--- KEY FEATURES ---
[+] Multi-Factor Scoring Engine Each setup is scored on 6 dimensions: wick quality, penetration depth, volume spike, reclaim strength, target room, and trend alignment. You see the score. You decide the threshold.
[+] Session Filter Gold's Asia session produces the cleanest stop runs because thin liquidity allows price to sweep levels easily. By default, only Asia sweeps are enabled. London and NY can be toggled on for breakout-style setups.
[+] DXY Alignment Bull reversals are filtered by DXY weakness (falling dollar = Gold bullish). Bear reversals require DXY strength. This macro filter removes setups that fight the dollar trend.
[+] Psych Level Confluence When a stop run occurs near $4,500, $4,550, $4,600 or any $50/$100 round number, the score receives a bonus (default +8 points). Institutional orders cluster at round numbers. A sweep near these levels has higher reversal probability.
[+] BUY/SELL Arrows Clear entry signals. Green arrow = bullish reversal. Red arrow = bearish reversal. Plotted at the confirmation bar.
[+] Session Stats Panel Live count of total signals, broken down by Asia/London/NY. Psych confluence count. DXY status. Active setup tracking with score.
[+] Full Alerts Push notification, email, and sound. Alert message includes direction, price, score, session, and psych status.

For more signals: lower Min Score to 58, enable London For fewer but stronger signals: raise Min Score to 76
--- WHY ASIA SESSION FOR GOLD REVERSALS ---
Gold's Asia session (6pm-2am ET) has the thinnest liquidity of the day. This makes it the ideal hunting ground for stop runs:
- Thin order books allow price to sweep highs/lows easily
- Institutional players place orders at these swept levels
- When London opens with real volume, the reversal confirms
The default settings capture this dynamic. Asia sweeps detected, London/NY volume confirms.

DXY symbol name varies by broker. Default is "DXY". Common alternatives: USDX, DXY.a, USDollarIndex. Update in settings if needed, or set DXY Alignment to false.
--- COMMON QUESTIONS ---
Q: Does this repaint? A: No. Sweep detection uses confirmed bars only. Historical signals never change.
Q: Why do I see few signals? A: The multi-factor scoring is intentionally strict. A score of 66/100 requires strong evidence across multiple dimensions. Lower the Min Score to 58 for more signals, or enable more sessions.
Q: Can my EA read the signals? A: Yes. BUY and SELL buffers are available via iCustom().
Q: Is this the same as SMC? A: Liquidity sweeps are a core concept in Smart Money / ICT methodology. This indicator automates the detection with quantitative scoring instead of subjective chart reading.
Q: Works on other pairs? A: The sweep engine works on anything. Session filter and $50/$100 psych levels are Gold-optimized.
