Tokyo Fix Gotobi Anomaly EA - A Solid Automated Trading System Targeting Japan's "Gotobi" & "Nakane" Market Anomalies

"On days ending in 5 or 0 (Gotobi), USDJPY tends to move." Have you ever heard of this famous market anomaly?
Tokyo Fix Gotobi Anomaly EA is an automated trading system (EA) based on a classic, robust trading logic that focuses on the actual commercial demand for USD by Japanese importers (known as "Nakane" demand).
Instead of relying on an excessive combination of complex indicators, this EA trades based on the "Time Advantage" specific to the Tokyo market.
It is designed to be user-friendly for beginners, with built-in money management and rigorous safety features.
3 Key Features
1. Smart "Gotobi" Detection Logic
The EA automatically identifies and targets only the "Gotobi" dates (5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th of the month). Furthermore, it includes an automatic Holiday Adjustment feature. If a Gotobi falls on a weekend, the EA will smartly execute trades on the preceding Friday, just as professional traders do. You don't need to check the calendar yourself.
2. Two-Stage Strategy: "Buy" & "Sell"

Wave 1 (Buy): Entries are made in the early morning (Japan Time) to capture the upward trend leading toward the "Nakane" (the reference rate fixing time at 9:55 AM JST).

Wave 2 (Sell): After the rate is fixed, the EA initiates a Sell position to capture the pullback (adjustment) once the buying pressure from importers subsides.

Note: Buy and Sell strategies can be toggled on/off individually.
3. Thorough Money Management & Safety
The EA is equipped with an Auto-Lot Calculation feature (e.g., "Risk only 2% of account balance per trade"). This prevents high-leverage gambling. It also includes a Weekend Close function to avoid carrying positions over the weekend, and a Spread Filter to prevent entries when transaction costs are too high.

Late Night - Early Morning: The EA determines, "Is today a Gotobi day (or a substitute day)?"

Early Morning: Executes a Buy entry at the optimal timing based on its internal logic.

Near Fixing Time: Closes the Buy position to secure profits. Simultaneously, it reverses and enters a Sell position.

Afternoon: Closes the Sell position before market liquidity changes. Trading for the day ends.
Note: Entry and exit times can be customized in the parameter settings.

Q. Which timeframe should I use? A. The logic is managed by internal time, so it works on any timeframe, but we recommend setting it on the M5 (5-minute) chart.
Q. It doesn't trade every day. Is it broken? A. No, it is not broken. This EA only trades on "Gotobi" days (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30). It is designed to skip low-probability days and fight only when the odds are in your favor.
