How it works
- Observe: A defined session window supplies the opening range.
- Prepare: Its high and low form the breakout references.
- Manage: An eligible entry receives the market profile’s protection and risk settings.
- Exit: The position follows the profile’s stop, target and session-based exit rules.
Recommendations and setup
- ONE_CHART_PORTFOLIO is the default. One running chart manages USDJPY and XAUUSD.
- Add BTCUSD to One-chart symbols if wanted, or select CHART_SYMBOL for a supported single-symbol chart. Avoid duplicate instances for the same markets.
- Standard risk per trade: USDJPY 1%, Gold 1%, Bitcoin 0.5%. Cautious halves the entered risks. Bitcoin entries at weekends are off by default.
- Check Auto GMT, market data and trading permissions, then enable Algo Trading. A VPS supports continuous operation; hedging is recommended for independent positions.
- Auto GMT continuously measures the live broker-time offset. Historical broker-time assumptions can differ: backtests at other brokers may differ from BlackBull, and correct backtests at every broker are not guaranteed. If needed, disable Auto GMT and set Manual GMT offset for the broker and test period.
Recommended minimum balance
Recommended minimum balance: 2,000 USD at the default 1% risk per trade. On smaller accounts the broker's minimum lot on Gold can exceed the 1% risk, so the real risk per trade is higher. Other brokers may have different minimum lots. This is a recommendation, not a balance restriction enforced by the EA.
Loss controls and news
Optional daily and total equity-loss controls can lock new entries and request closure of this EA’s own positions. Under Standard and Cautious, zero limits are off. The Prop profile halves the entered risks and supplies loss limits unless you enter your own. Account equity is the measurement basis; actions concern this EA’s trades. Check the firm’s reset and loss definitions. No provider approval or challenge result is promised.
The optional economic-calendar filter can pause new entries around selected high-impact events. It is off by default and inactive in the Strategy Tester, where calendar data are unavailable. Owned open positions remain managed during entry pauses.
Before live trading
Use the free Market demo in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester before purchase. Test with suitable broker data and realistic costs, then evaluate operation on a broker demo account. Minimum lot sizes can prevent small accounts from matching the intended risk. Gaps, slippage and interruptions can exceed stops or loss thresholds. Historical results do not guarantee future returns.
Communication and support
For setup questions use the product comments or MQL5 messaging. Include the product version, broker symbol, relevant settings and an anonymized journal excerpt; never send passwords.
