Vernier Trade Manager

A risk-based trade panel with a built-in account guard. Set the risk, place the stop, click once: the lot size is worked out for you, the trade is managed in R, and daily and maximum loss limits are enforced on every position on the account.

It places no trade on its own. Every order starts with your click.

ORDER ENTRY

- Size by percent of balance or equity, by a fixed amount of money, or by fixed lots.
- Stop loss in pips or points; take profit as a multiple of the stop (R) or as a distance. One click switches between the two and keeps the target in place.
- Before anything is sent the panel shows the lot size, the money at risk, the reward, R : R, the margin and the value of one pip.
- One-click Buy and Sell, with an optional two-click confirmation.
- Lot sizes come from MetaTrader's own profit calculation, so cross rates and contract sizes are handled on forex, metals, indices and CFDs alike, and are always rounded down to the broker's lot step.

LINES ON THE CHART

- Switch on Lines and drag the entry, stop and target where you want them. Each line carries a tag with its value in money.
- Drag the entry away from the price and the order becomes a buy limit, buy stop, sell limit or sell stop by itself.
- Drag the stop across the entry to turn a buy into a sell.

CHECKS BEFORE EVERY ORDER

The panel tells you why an order would be refused before you send it, instead of after:
- a stop inside the spread or closer than the broker allows (measured the way the server measures it)
- not enough free margin
- a lot size below the broker's minimum
- a trade that risks more than your loss limit has room for today
- any rule of the account guard below

TRADE MANAGEMENT IN R

- Breakeven: moves the stop to entry plus a small lock once a trade is 1R in profit.
- Partial close: takes part of the position off once, at the R you choose.
- Trailing stop: keeps the stop a set number of R behind the price.
- Manage only the trades placed from the panel, every position on the symbol, or every position on the account.

POSITIONS

- Every open position with its profit and its R.
- Breakeven, close half and close, one click per row.
- Close all, close the winners, close the losers, delete pending orders - each with a second click to confirm.

ACCOUNT GUARD - FOR CHALLENGES AND FUNDED ACCOUNTS

- Daily loss limit: as a percent of the account size or of the day's start, measured from balance, equity or the higher of the two, with the day resetting on the server clock, UTC, Central Europe or New York (daylight saving included).
- Maximum loss: static, trailing, or trailing by end of day, with an option to stop trailing at the starting balance.
- Profit target: closes everything once reached, so a passed phase is not given back.
- Trades per day, news windows (MetaTrader economic calendar), Friday close, cooling-off after losing trades, wide-spread and time-window blocks.
- Net exposure per currency, so three long-dollar pairs are seen as one dollar bet.
- Acts a set margin before each loss limit (0.5 percentage points by default) and keeps the account flat while a limit is hit, even if another expert opens a trade.
- Watches every position in scope, whoever opened it: the panel, other experts or manual trades.
- Locks survive a restart. A reset needs three clicks.

THE PANEL

- Trade, Positions and Guard tabs; room left before each loss limit shown as bars.
- Anti-aliased drawing, dark and light themes chosen from your chart's colours.
- Drag it anywhere, collapse it to one line. Your settings and its position are remembered.
- Tooltips on every button and box.
- Prop mode: orders from the panel carry no magic number or comment, the same as orders placed by hand. Check your firm's rules on trade-management tools before using any on a funded account.

GOOD TO KNOW

- Commission is not included in the risk figure: MetaTrader does not report it before a trade. Allow for it on commission accounts.
- The guard checks every second. A price gap or a fast spike can still go past a limit; the safety margin reduces this but no terminal-side tool can remove it.
- Attach it to one chart only; it watches the whole account from there.
- A pip is 10 points on every symbol. Set "Distances In" to Points to work in points.
- In the Strategy Tester the panel cannot be clicked, so the expert opens demonstration trades there to show the management and the guard at work. The news filter works live only.
- Try it on a demo account first, and set the limits to your firm's own rules.

Trading involves risk. This tool helps you size and control your trades; it does not predict the market and cannot guarantee any result.

Pivot Box Range draws daily pivot levels and a high-low range box for each day, and it fixes the one thing that quietly breaks most pivot indicators: the broker's short days. THE SHORT DAY PROBLEM Most brokers open a Sunday candle that lasts only an hour or two, and some holidays produce half sessions. A pivot indicator that treats those as a full day calculates Monday's levels from almost no data, and the levels land in the wrong place for the whole week. This indicator merges a short day i

Session Box Range draws the Asian, European and US trading sessions as high-low boxes, so you can see at a glance where each session opened, how far it travelled and where it closed. The range of the most recent session is printed on the on-chart toggle buttons, so the number stays readable no matter how far you zoom or scroll. FEATURES - Session hours are entered in GMT, and the broker's server offset is detected   automatically, so the same settings work on any broker and survive the   ser

Currency Strength Ribbons shows the eight major currencies - USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD and NZD - as smooth lines in one window, each measured against all the others at once from the 28 pairs that link them. HOW IT DIFFERS Most strength meters add up pair changes one pair at a time. That counts every move twice: when EURUSD rises, the euro gets full credit and the dollar full blame, whatever the other 26 pairs say about which of the two actually moved. Currency Strength Ribbons solves
Volatility Target Allocator holds a long position in an index CFD and decides how large that position should be from a forecast of volatility, not of price. When the market is calm it holds more; when it turns violent it holds less; below the 200-day average it holds nothing. It is a risk-sizing expert, not a signal generator. It never sells short and it does not try to call the next move. WHAT IT DOES Once a week, after a daily bar closes: 1. Forecasts next week's volatility with a HAR reg
