🚀 QUICK START (2 MINUTES)

1. Attach the EA to one chart – any symbol, any timeframe.
2. Enable Algo Trading (MT5) / AutoTrading (MT4) and "Allow Algo Trading" in the EA settings.
3. Keep the defaults or set your own plan. Done – trade as usual and watch the ESCORT tab.

Default plan: auto stop 1.5 × ATR for trades without a stop · close 25 % at 1R, 2R and 3R · break-even after TP1 · step lock · ATR trailing after TP2 · shield 4.5 % daily loss / 9 % max drawdown.

Only one copy per account is needed. A second copy switches itself to STANDBY and takes over if the first one stops. Want special rules for one symbol? Attach a second copy with "only the symbol of this chart" – the account-wide copy then leaves that symbol alone.

📖 EXAMPLE – HOW THE LADDER WORKS

BUY 1.00 lot EURUSD at 1.1000, stop 1.0980 → 1R = 20 pips.

• TP1 1.1020 (1R) → closes 0.25 lot, stop to break-even 1.1001 + fees ✅ trade is risk-free
• TP2 1.1040 (2R) → closes 0.25 lot, stop to TP1 (1.1020), trailing starts
• TP3 1.1060 (3R) → closes 0.25 lot, stop to TP2 (1.1040)
• Runner → the last 0.25 lot rides the trend with the ATR trailing stop

Percentages always refer to the original volume. A lot too small to split is kept whole and closed at the level where 50 % or more is due.

🏦 PROP-FIRM SETUPS

• Classic 2-step challenge (5 % daily / 10 % max, static): daily loss 4.5 % of the initial balance, measured from the higher of balance and equity, reset at midnight CE(S)T · max drawdown 9 %, static. The 0.5 % / 1 % buffer covers slippage.
• Trailing drawdown account: max drawdown 5 % (or the money value), type "trailing until it reaches the initial balance".
• Challenge target: total profit target 10 % – when it is reached, everything is closed and trading stays locked, so you can never give the target back.

Always check the exact rules of your firm. The shield is a safety net – it cannot prevent a price gap over the weekend.

📲 TELEGRAM (OPTIONAL)

1. Create a bot with @BotFather and paste the token into "Telegram bot token".
2. Send any message to your bot, open api.telegram.org/bot<token>/getUpdates and copy your chat id into "Telegram chat ID".
3. Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest → add https://api.telegram.org.

🧪 TRY IT IN THE STRATEGY TESTER

The tester cannot see your manual trades, so the EA opens demo trades there (every 4 hours by default, half of them without a stop) and escorts them with your settings. Use the visual mode to watch the panel, the lines, the partial closes, the break-even and the trailing stop live.

❓ FAQ

Does it trade by itself?
No. It only manages and closes existing positions (and deletes pending orders while the shield is locked).

Will it change the stops of my other EAs?
Only for trades inside its scope. Use the magic filter "all except" for EAs that manage their own trades.

What happens after a restart?
Everything is restored from the state file – levels already done are never repeated.

Does the shield work while the terminal is closed?
No EA can act while the terminal is offline – use a VPS for prop-firm accounts. Hybrid stealth keeps an emergency stop at the broker for exactly that reason.

Netting account?
Supported. Adding to a position raises the base volume and the entry price of the ladder.

Do I need several copies?
No. One copy escorts all symbols; a second copy waits in STANDBY.
