Step 1: Create your Telegram Bot & Get the Token

  1. Open Telegram and search for the user @BotFather (make sure it has the verified blue checkmark).
  2. Start a chat and send the command /newbot .
  3. Give your bot a Name (e.g., "My EA Alerts") and a unique Username ending in "bot" (e.g., "TorbGold_bot").
  4. BotFather will generate a HTTP API Token (a long string of numbers and letters). Copy this Token.
  5. Paste this token into the InpTelegramToken input in the EA settings.

Step 2: Get your Chat ID

  1. In Telegram, search for the user @userinfobot (or any ID bot like @getidsbot).
  2. Start a chat with it. It will reply with your personal ID (a string of numbers like 123456789).
  3. Copy this ID.
  4. Paste this ID into the InpTelegramChatID input in the EA settings.

Step 3: Enable WebRequest in MetaTrader 5

  1. Open your MetaTrader 5 platform.
  2. Go to Tools > Options (or press Ctrl+O) > Expert Advisors tab.
  3. Check the box "Allow WebRequest for listed URL".
  4. Add the following URL to the list: https://api.telegram.org
  5. Click OK.
