Smart VWAP – Professional VWAP Trading & Market Analysis for MT5
Smart VWAP is an advanced and lightweight VWAP indicator for MetaTrader 5, designed to give traders a clean view of the market’s volume-weighted fair price, dynamic deviation levels, trend direction, and potential trading opportunities.
Instead of displaying a continuously changing VWAP line only, Smart VWAP transforms each trading session into a structured set of clear horizontal reference levels. This makes it easier to identify where price is trading relative to the session’s volume-weighted average and its statistical deviation zones.
The indicator calculates the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) together with ±1 and ±2 Standard Deviation levels, creating a practical framework for analyzing trend, pullbacks, extensions, support/resistance areas, and potential mean-reversion zones.

How Smart VWAP Can Be Used
Smart VWAP provides a structured framework for understanding the relationship between price, volume and the session average.
VWAP can act as the central reference point of the session. Trading above or below it can help provide context about current market positioning.
±1 Standard Deviation levels highlight areas where price is moving away from its volume-weighted average.
±2 Standard Deviation levels represent more extended price movement and can be useful for identifying potential exhaustion, reversal or continuation areas depending on market conditions.
