Aurdelis | XAUUSD portfolio EA
A ten-engine gold portfolio for MetaTrader 5, designed for personal live and demo accounts. Aurdelis combines proprietary market-context selection, coordinated risk management and native MT5 execution.
One portfolio, complementary approaches
Contextual selection determines which engines may participate. An eligible engine still needs a valid signal. One EA position is allowed at a time, limiting simultaneous exposure. Complementary approaches do not guarantee uncorrelated losses. No external signal feed, Python runtime, DLL or paid data subscription is required.
Version 1.07: user-controlled sizing
Fixed Lots and Risk Percentage operate in live trading and the Strategy Tester. Percentage sizing now uses current equity without the previous reference-allocation cap. Engine risk weights and additional EA account-risk limits can be switched off separately. Broker volume steps, margin and stop requirements still apply. Entry and exit strategy rules are unchanged.
The gallery contains version 1.00/1.01 reference backtests and interface captures. These are not version 1.07 performance results. Sizing and protection changes can change trades and results; test the update with your intended inputs.

The gallery shows the native reference curve and statistics. This development-period test is not an independent forward record or a forecast.
Live and demo compatibility
The purchased EA supports MT5 live accounts, demo accounts and the Strategy Tester on hedging accounts. The free Market Demo is a tester-only trial; it does not restrict the purchased product to demo use. Evaluation-style accounts are an optional use case when the account rules match the selected protections. No challenge success is promised.
Your capital, your configuration
100,000 EUR is the historical reference deposit, not a required account size. Automatic guard reference uses the first live activation balance (persisted locally) or tester initial deposit. Manual allocation remains available for a specific evaluation allocation. First activation balance is not necessarily the original challenge allocation.
Separate native tests at a fixed 0.01 lot used Vantage XAUUSD+, EUR, leverage 1:100, evaluation protection and news filtering, from 1 August 2023 to 1 August 2026. At 1,000 EUR, relative equity drawdown was 5.46%, with 50 risk-budget entry refusals. At 2,500 EUR, it was 4.42%, with two such refusals. At 5,000 EUR, it was 2.70%, with no risk-budget refusal and the same 542 reference entry events. These are STRATEGY TESTER / BACKTEST results, NOT LIVE PERFORMANCE.
Suggested starting allocation for this 0.01-lot setup: 5,000 EUR. The tested 2,500 EUR account was workable with less room for risk. This is a practical recommendation under the tested protection profile, not a mandatory or universal minimum. Other lot sizes, profiles, leverage, currencies and broker contracts require their own checks.
The main reference and fixed-lot capital tests above used versions 1.00/1.01 and their original risk controls. They do not establish performance or minimum capital for version 1.07 or for disabled risk limits.
Choose your position sizing
Select Risk Percentage or Fixed Lots. For unweighted percentage risk, disable engine risk weights. Fixed lots per entry operates independently of percentage inputs. Requested volume is rounded down to the broker step. Broker minimum/maximum volume and margin still apply. Fixed volume does not mean fixed monetary risk.
Risk and operational controls
The reference uses 1% base entry risk; engine weights can reduce it. Sizing checks broker lot limits and available margin. Optional evaluation protection adds daily and total equity thresholds. Personal mode does not activate that evaluation guard; switching profiles changes protection and is not the published reference configuration.
News protection uses the native MT5 calendar. When enabled, high-impact USD events can block entries and trigger configured pre-event closure. Stale or unavailable calendar data blocks new entries. Persistent order-intent reconciliation avoids blind resending after ambiguous replies. The dashboard provides pause and closure controls. Stops and software limits cannot guarantee a maximum loss during gaps, slippage or outages.
Install and prepare
- Install through MT5 Market on a hedging account.
- Open the broker gold CFD M1 chart; attach one instance per symbol and order identifier.
- Set your reference allocation and review risk, protection profile, news and broker clock.
- Load M1 history, wait for readiness and check the dashboard before enabling Algo Trading.
Keep MT5 connected and the computer clock accurate. AUTO measures the connected server UTC offset in live trading. In the tester, Vantage uses the qualified UTC+2 winter / US DST policy. Other servers use configurable historical offset and DST inputs (default UTC+2 winter / US DST). Verify these historical settings with the broker: this fallback is not automatic historical detection. Preserve local recovery state when restarting.
Reproduce the backtest
The published reference used Vantage XAUUSD+, M1 real ticks, 1:100 leverage, 100,000 EUR, evaluation protection, 1% base risk and enabled news filtering. It is an earlier-version reference, not a result measured on version 1.07. Broker data, costs and settings can change results.
The tester uses an embedded calendar archive from 1 January 2023 inclusive to 19 September 2026 exclusive, UTC. Enabled news filtering blocks entries outside coverage. The archive original publication-time vintage is unproven; live operation uses the MT5 calendar.
Before using real funds
Check your broker in the tester and on demo. Qualification includes historical tests and connected-demo installation/restart checks, not verified live trading performance. Losses can consume the entire allocation. No profit, maximum drawdown or completion time is guaranteed.
