Uncertainty Analyser XAUUSD H1
Uncertainty Analyser is a fully automated breakout Expert Advisor built for Gold (XAUUSD). It runs five independent breakout strategies side by side, each with its own magic number, timing, stop-loss, take-profit and trailing logic. Every trade is entered with a pending stop order at a confirmed structural level and is protected by a hard stop-loss from the moment it is placed. HOW IT WORKS
HOW IT WORKS
The EA looks for price levels that the market has already proven to be significant, waits for them to be confirmed, and then places a Buy Stop above or a Sell Stop below that level.
- ST1 and ST2 trade fresh M15 range extremes (long-lookback highs and lows) once they have been confirmed over a fixed waiting period.
- ST4, ST6 and ST8 trade Daily pivot highs and lows that were not exceeded by the preceding days, each strategy using a different strength filter and placement timing.
All distances (stop-loss, take-profit, break-even trigger, trailing distance) are calculated as a fraction of the previous day's opening price, so the EA automatically scales with the price of Gold rather than using fixed pip values that go out of date.
TRADE MANAGEMENT
- Hard stop-loss and take-profit on every order
- Break-even lock once the trade has moved a defined distance into profit
- Trailing stop that only ever moves in the direction of profit, never backwards
- Pending orders expire automatically after a set number of days per strategy
- Optional filter that retires a level once price has traded through it
RISK AND SAFETY
- Risk-based position sizing (percent of balance per trade) or fixed lot
- Optional custom balance setting to size trades from a fixed reference amount
- Margin check before every order, plus a continuous guard that removes pending orders the account could no longer afford
- Respects broker stop level, freeze level, tick size, lot step, minimum and maximum volume, symbol volume limit and the account's pending-order limit
- Checks the symbol's trading sessions and does not send orders or modifications while the market is closed
- Works on both netting and hedging accounts

- Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold)
- Chart timeframe: H1 (the EA reads M5, M15, M30, H1, H4 and D1 data internally, so the chart timeframe does not change the logic)
- Account: low-spread ECN type recommended
- History: make sure at least several months of M15 and D1 history is loaded, as the EA builds its level map from past data on start-up

Money management
- RiskPercent: percent of balance risked per trade
- FixedLot: lot size used when fixed-lot mode is selected
- LotMode: 0 = fixed lot, any other value = risk-based sizing
- CustomBalance: if above 0, lot size is calculated from this amount instead of the account balance
Strategies
- ST_1_Enable, ST_2_Enable, ST_4_Enable, ST_6_Enable, ST_8_Enable: switch each strategy on or off individually
BACKTESTING NOTES
Test on XAUUSD using "Every tick based on real ticks" for realistic results, since the EA uses pending orders and a trailing stop. Results will vary between brokers because of differences in spread, server time and Daily candle boundaries.
