GEX Options Radar — Options-Based Market Structure for US Indices (NDX / SPX)
GEX Options Radar displays real-time-ish key levels derived from market maker positioning in index options — directly on your USTEC or US500 chart, with no paid data subscription required.
What it calculates
- Zero Gamma (Gamma Flip) — the price level where dealers' net gamma exposure flips from positive to negative. Above it: "long gamma" regime (volatility typically dampened). Below it: "short gamma" regime (moves often amplified).
- Max Pain — the closing price that would minimize the total value paid out to option holders at expiration.
- Gamma Walls — the top 5 strikes concentrating the largest gamma exposure, often acting as magnet zones or resistance to price movement.
- Net GEX — aggregate net gamma exposure across the full options chain.
- Put/Call Ratio — by open interest and by volume, to gauge market positioning.
How it works
The indicator fetches the full options chain (strikes, IV, open interest, greeks) directly from CBOE's public delayed-quotes endpoint, recalculates levels using Black-Scholes, and displays results in a clean panel with levels plotted directly on the chart. No Python install, no external files, no subscription — everything runs natively inside MT5.
Supported instruments
Nasdaq-100 (NDX → USTEC) and S&P 500 (SPX → US500). One panel per chart.

Whitelist https://cdn.cboe.com under Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" (free, no signup required).
