Core Idea
Most automated systems hide complexity behind marketing. Key Factor does the opposite. Every decision the EA makes traces back to a specific user-defined value. The signal window, the sensitivity threshold, the correction factor — each one is exposed, adjustable, and directly impacts behavior in a predictable way.
Entry Conditions
Entries are governed by a three-parameter signal block. The depth of the analysis window controls how much historical context is considered. The deviation threshold sets the minimum statistical significance required before a signal is accepted. The correction degree acts as a final gate, rejecting signals that fall below the required confidence margin.
All three work together. Changing one shifts the balance — wider windows with tighter thresholds produce fewer, more selective entries; shorter windows with relaxed thresholds increase activity.
Exit and Protection
Key Factor supports both static and dynamic exits. Fixed Take Profit and Stop Loss are always active. The trailing mechanism is optional — when enabled it activates after the position reaches a defined profit level and follows price at the configured distance. Setting both trailing values to zero disables it entirely with no side effects.
Position and Capital Control
A position cap prevents the EA from opening more trades than the user allows at any given time. Lot sizing runs in one of two modes: a fixed volume per trade, or an equity-proportional calculation that adjusts automatically as account balance changes.

Setup Notes
The EA runs on any symbol and timeframe supported by MetaTrader 4. Behavior varies significantly across instruments — optimization in the Strategy Tester is recommended before live deployment. A demo account run of at least several weeks is advised before switching to live capital.
