Is your EA broken — or just unlucky? Stop guessing. Start measuring.
Every algo trader knows the moment: three losses in a row, the equity curve dips, and the doubt creeps in. Do you switch the robot off — or hold on? Guess wrong in either direction and it costs you real money. Kill a healthy EA and you miss its recovery. Trust a broken one and it drains your account, one normal drawdown at a time.
EA Health Monitor removes the guessing. You give it five numbers from your strategy backtest report. It watches every live trade and tells you, in plain language backed by statistics, whether your robot is still performing as it should.
One glance tells you everything. HEALTHY means live performance is within statistical expectations, let it work. WARNING means something is drifting, shown on the panel without notification noise. BROKEN means a statistically significant breakdown, confirmed before you are alerted.
FIVE INDEPENDENT HEALTH CHECKS, EACH WITH REAL MATH
Losing-streak probability. Not "5 losses feels bad" but "6 losses in a row has a 0.8% probability at your stated 55% win rate." Turns a gut feeling into a number.
Win-rate significance (z-test). A one-sided statistical test of your live win rate against your baseline. Tells the difference between random variance and genuine decay.
Profit-factor degradation. Alerts when live profit factor falls below 60% or 40% of your backtest value — the clearest sign an edge is fading.
Exit-mechanics drift. Average win shrinking? Average loss growing? Your trailing stop or stop-loss may be misbehaving under live spreads and slippage.
Silence detector. Your EA stopped opening trades? A frozen robot is invisible on a P&L chart. This catches it before you notice the silence yourself.
BUILT FOR PEACE OF MIND, NOT PANIC
Alerts only on confirmed problems. A single statistical outlier stays on the panel. You are notified only when a RED status is confirmed across two evaluations.
One alert per episode. After a RED alert, the check goes quiet until the robot has been clean for hours, then sends a single recovered message. No alert storms.
Honest about false positives. Validated on a 1,290-trade test bench: roughly 0.6% of trades trigger an episode. For a typical EA running 1 to 3 trades per day, that is a handful of alerts per quarter, each one worth reading. We measured it. We did not hide it.

HOW TO SET IT UP IN 2 MINUTES
Step one. Open your EA Strategy Tester report. Step two. Copy five numbers: win rate, profit factor, average win, average loss, trades per month, and the longest losing streak. Step three. Enter them as the baseline, set the magic number, attach to a chart. Done.

A monitoring tool measures risk, it does not remove it. Always test on a demo account first. Past backtest performance does not guarantee future results.

Robot 1 to 3 Configuration: enable monitoring, magic number (0 = manual trades), display name, baseline win rate percent, profit factor, average win, average loss, trades per month, max losing streak.
Analysis: history depth in days, rolling window in trades, monitor chart symbol only.
Alerts: terminal alerts, push notifications, same-alert cooldown, clean hours before recovery.
