- One JSONL file, one simple pipeline – I write every trade (opened and closed) to `C:\TradeJournal\trades.jsonl` in a clean, append‑only format. No HTTP, no firewall issues, no broker restrictions.
- Correct closed trade data – I don’t just record the closing price; I go back to find the matching entry deal via `DEAL_POSITION_ID` so you get accurate open price, close price, profit, commission, and swap for every closed trade.
- Live open positions – I also export currently open positions (with `close_price = 0`), so your dashboard always reflects your real‑time equity.
- Real‑time capture – The `OnTradeTransaction` event catches every deal the moment it happens, so your desktop app updates within seconds.
- Historical sync – On first attach, I export the last 365 days of closed deals. No data left behind.

Lightweight – I use very few CPU resources. A timer runs every 60 seconds only to refresh open positions and the GUI.
