Overview
Trade Manager is a professional on-chart control panel that puts complete position management at your fingertips. Whether you're scalping, swing trading, or managing a multi-position portfolio, Trade Manager gives you instant, one-click control over every open trade — without opening a single dialog box.
It works with any trading strategy or EA. It doesn't open trades. It manages the ones you already have.
Core Actions
Position Closing
Close ALL — closes all open positions on the current symbol in one click
Close All Buy / Close All Sell — directional one-sided close
Close Profitable Positions — exit winners and let losers run
Close Losing Positions — cut losses immediately
Close ½ Profit / Close ½ Loss — partial close exactly half the volume on winning or losing trades (with full broker validation and safe residual-lot checks)
Close Pending — cancels all pending orders on the current symbol
Stop Management
Auto SL / Auto TP — applies stop-loss and take-profit from each position's entry price at your chosen pip distance, with spread-guard protection to prevent placement during high-volatility spikes
Break Even — moves SL to entry price on all positions that have cleared the broker's minimum stop zone
Trailing Stop — activates a dynamic trailing SL that updates every 250 ms, only ever moving in the profitable direction; adjustable from 5 to 2,000 pips without reloading
Reset SL/TP — removes all stops from open positions in one click
Panel Controls
Resizable — scale the panel between 60% and 150% using the [ − ] / [ + ] buttons; size is remembered across restarts
SL / TP / Trail selectors — adjust pip distances in 5-pip steps directly from the panel; no settings dialog required
Live P&L display — shows real-time floating profit/loss with colour coding (green/red/neutral)
Panel position — set X/Y placement via input parameters at startup
Reliability & Safety
Pre-flight trade checks on every action — verifies broker connection, terminal autotrading, and EA-level switch before sending any order
Spread guard on Auto SL/TP — aborts if current spread exceeds 50% of the pip distance, protecting you during news events
Silent Mode — replaces pop-up Alert dialogs with Journal-only messages so notifications never interrupt live trading
Persistent settings — SL, TP, trail distance, and panel scale are saved to a per-account file and restored on every restart, chart switch, or timeframe change
Safe partial close logic — validates lot rounding, minimum volume, and residual-lot constraints before every partial-close request; skips and logs instead of silently misexecuting
Instrument auto-detection — correctly identifies pip size for standard forex, precious metals (XAU/XAG), indices, and exotic instruments
Instrument Compatibility
Works with all symbols available on your broker:
Forex pairs (4-digit and 5-digit)
Precious metals (XAUUSD, XAGUSD, GOLD, SILVER)
Stock indices, commodities, energies
Cryptocurrency pairs are not supported. Due to the non-standard pip/digit structures used by most brokers for crypto instruments (e.g. BTCUSD, ETHUSD), SL, TP, and trailing stop distances may not calculate correctly. Do not use this panel to manage crypto positions.
